SummerSlam weekend is officially underway in Minneapolis, and WWE is rolling out a packed lineup of legends, NXT talent and celebrity guests while launching its new Club WWE membership program. The two‑night Premium Live Event is set for Saturday and Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium, and WWE is using the entire weekend to build momentum.
SummerSlam Weekend Packed With WWE Appearances
Club WWE officially launches today, marking the start of a busy stretch of SummerSlam festivities. The company is pairing the rollout with a strong promotional push across the city, bringing in several Hall of Famers and legends for appearances. Sean Waltman, Jimmy Hart, Rikishi, The Undertaker and The Dudley Boyz are all scheduled for fan events, including photo opportunities at Fanatics’ SummerSlam weekend setup.
A large group of NXT talent is also in Minneapolis for appearances. Kendal Grey, Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, Lola Vice, Mason Rook, Zaria and Tatum Paxley are all in town, joining SmackDown’s Grayson Waller as part of WWE’s expanded presence for the weekend.
WWE is also leaning into crossover promotional opportunities. Members of the Broken Lizard comedy troupe were backstage at Monday’s RAW taping in costume for Super Troopers 3, suggesting a cameo or tie‑in is planned. Hot Ones host Sean Evans was backstage as well, filming material with Dominik Mysterio that is expected to be released later.
With Club WWE launching, legends meeting fans, NXT talent making appearances and celebrity crossovers being filmed, WWE is treating SummerSlam weekend as a full‑scale event beyond the two nights at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The mix of wrestling stars, returning legends and outside personalities sets the tone for one of WWE’s biggest weekends of the year, adding extra energy to the build toward SummerSlam.
