WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that people within WWE do not believe Lesnar’s Hell in a Cell match against Oba Femi will be his last. According to the outlet, the feeling backstage is that Lesnar will step away from television for a period before resurfacing for a major program at WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia.
One source told the outlet they would be surprised if Lesnar didn’t take a break from WWE TV following SummerSlam, only to return in time for the company’s biggest event of 2027.
Lesnar is set to face Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell this weekend, closing out a rivalry that has become one of WWE’s most intense. The two men have split their previous meetings, with Femi winning at WrestleMania 42 and Lesnar evening the score at Clash in Italy. Their 1–1 record sets the stage for a decisive final chapter.
Femi earned a world title shot by winning the King of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions, but he turned down the championship opportunity to pursue Lesnar instead. The decision added weight to the feud, framing the match as a personal mission rather than a chase for gold.
