The attack happened after The Vision’s Austin Theory and Bron Breakker defeated Akira Tozawa and Otis in tag team action. Even after the loss, Otis rushed back into the fight when Theory and Breakker tried to continue their beating on Tozawa. For a moment, Otis cleared the ring and looked ready to swing the momentum back toward Alpha Academy. That changed when Maxxine Dupri stepped onto the apron. Her distraction gave Theory and Breakker the opening they needed.
They dropped Otis with a double powerbomb. Theory then took things even further. He grabbed a steel chair, ignored the referee, and smashed it into Otis’ head against the ring post. Otis collapsed and did not move. The segment ended with officials rushing in as Theory and Breakker walked away.
