MLW recently confirmed that Bishop Dyer had been written out of the promotion following stalled negotiations. The situation was addressed publicly, making it clear that both sides had reached a breaking point.
“For weeks, the question has been, exactly where is Bishop Dyer? I can now confirm this — negotiations between Dyer and Major League Wrestling have officially hit a total standstill.”
Following that announcement, MLW stripped Dyer of his share of the World Tag Team Championship. Donovan Dijak continued the title reign with a new partner, as Josh Bishop stepped into the role.
These moves created the impression that Corbin was being cleared from MLW programming. WWE’s decision to file a trademark for “The Nomad,” the same identity Corbin used after leaving the company, has added further weight to the return rumors.
