AAA TripleMania 34 has received a major update, as WWE has officially announced a venue change for night one of the two‑night, two‑country event. The show was originally scheduled for the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Friday, September 11, but overwhelming demand has pushed the event to a larger building.
Night one will now take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, replacing the previously sold‑out Luxor venue. Night two remains unchanged and will still be held at Arena CDMX in Mexico City on Sunday, September 13.
WWE confirmed the change through an official press release, noting that the move was necessary due to the level of interest in TripleMania’s first‑ever two‑country format.
The press release stated:
“To meet the unprecedented demand for the first-ever two-night, two-country Triplemanía this September, lucha libre promotion AAA today announced that the previously sold-out Friday, September 11 event scheduled for Luxor in Las Vegas will now be held at the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena. The event date and start time will remain unchanged.”
Fans who already purchased tickets will receive updated information soon. WWE also announced a presale for the new venue beginning Monday, August 3 at 10 a.m. PT, with general on‑sale tickets available Tuesday, August 4 at 10 a.m. PT through AXS.com.
The press release highlighted AAA’s recent momentum, referencing major events such as Noche de Los Grandes and Verano de Escándalo. It also noted that TripleMania 33 in 2025 drew a record attendance of 19,691 fans in Mexico City, becoming the most‑viewed and highest‑grossing TripleMania in history.
AAA TripleMania 34 venue change
TripleMania 34 will feature top AAA talent across both nights, including Dominik Mysterio, Rey Mysterio, Hijo del Vikingo, Psycho Clown, La Catalina, Rey Fenix and more. Announced matches so far include the Copa Bardahl battle royal, a fatal four‑way for the AAA Latin American Championship, and El Grande Americano vs. Dominik Mysterio for the Mega Championship.
With the Las Vegas venue now upgraded to the MGM Grand Garden Arena, fans attending night one will only need to adjust their plans by traveling roughly 1.5 miles from the original location. All other event details remain exactly as scheduled.
