Randy Orton Reflects on Upcoming Elimination Chamber Match – Randy Orton has acknowledged that his time inside the ring is limited as he prepares for this Saturday’s WWE Elimination Chamber 2026 Premium Live Event in Chicago.
Orton will compete in the men’s Elimination Chamber match, adding to what is already a record-setting resume under the brutal stipulation. The 14-time world champion now stands alone with the most appearances in the match’s history, surpassing the previous record of eight held by both John Cena and Chris Jericho. This year marks his tenth time stepping inside the unforgiving steel structure.
While speaking on Get Up, Orton discussed the physical toll the Chamber has taken on his body and how that reality feels different at this stage of his career. He earned his spot in the 2026 match earlier this month by winning a Triple Threat qualifier against Aleister Black and Solo Sikoa.
“Ten Elimination Chambers is a lot of Elimination Chambers. My body’s been beaten up all over that ring and that Chamber man, it is unforgiving. But I take a lot of experience with myself into that Chamber, and I’m gonna use it this Saturday, and I’m gonna win the thing and go to WrestleMania, man. I’ve only got so many years I’m gonna be able to do this, and I’m enjoying every second of it, so at the Chamber I’m gonna make it count,” Orton said.
The winner of the match will earn a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, where Drew McIntyre currently reigns as Undisputed WWE Champion. McIntyre captured the title from Cody Rhodes in a brutal Three Stages of Hell match on SmackDown and has since made it clear he hopes to face anyone but Rhodes on the “Grandest Stage of Them All.”
The men’s Chamber lineup is nearly complete. Alongside Orton, confirmed entrants include LA Knight, Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, and Trick Williams. Evans will make history as the youngest competitor ever to enter the Elimination Chamber match.
The final participant will be determined on WWE RAW, with Jey Uso, Bronson Reed, and “The Original” El Grande Americano set to compete in a Triple Threat qualifier for the last remaining spot.
