Tiffany Stratton And Randy Orton Qualify For Elimination Chamber Spots – Two spots in the Elimination Chamber matches were filled during the 2/6 episode of SmackDown, as Tiffany Stratton and Randy Orton secured their entries for the February 28 event in Chicago.
Stratton became the first woman to qualify, defeating Lash Legend and Chelsea Green in a triple threat match. The finish came after Stratton countered the Un-Pretty-Her and followed up with the PME on Green to score the victory.
The men’s qualifier headlined the show, with Orton facing Aleister Black and Solo Sikoa in another triple threat bout. Sikoa entered the match searching for the MFTs, but they were nowhere to be found. In the closing moments, Sikoa attempted the Samoan Spike, only for Orton to counter and connect with an RKO to secure the win and punch his ticket to the Chamber.
Additional qualifying matches are set for the coming week. On RAW, Rhea Ripley has already earned a place in an upcoming women’s qualifying match, though her opponents have not yet been confirmed.
Next Friday’s SmackDown will feature two more qualifiers. Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, and Jacob Fatu will compete for a spot in the men’s Elimination Chamber match, while Alexa Bliss, Zelina Vega, and Giulia are scheduled to battle in a women’s qualifier.
The winner of the men’s Elimination Chamber will go on to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42. On the women’s side, Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan has not yet revealed which champion she intends to face on the grand stage.
