Bronson Reed Injury Forces WWE to Rewrite Masked Man Storyline

Bronson Reed’s Injury Forces Major Rewrites to Masked Man Storyline

Bronson Reed’s biceps injury on the February 23 episode of WWE RAW has reportedly caused WWE to make significant changes to the ongoing masked man storyline. According to WrestleVotes Radio, Reed, Logan Paul, and the mysterious masked figure were all scheduled to be involved in the original finish to Reed’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Those plans were scrapped the moment Reed went down with the injury.

Reed suffered a torn biceps during the match, which was ultimately won by Jey Uso. Reed had been the planned winner, but after rolling out of the ring clutching his arm, he was unable to continue. WWE quickly called an audible, shifting the finish and removing the masked man involvement entirely.

The injury now forces WWE to rethink the direction of the angle. WrestleVotes Radio noted that the masked man storyline will “likely undergo heavy rewrites” as a result of Reed’s sudden absence. With Reed expected to miss significant time, WWE will need to adjust both the pacing and the payoff of the mystery attacker arc.

Reed’s injury comes at a critical point in the WrestleMania 42 build, and his absence removes a key player from a storyline that had been gaining momentum. WWE is expected to rework the angle in the coming weeks as they determine how to move forward without Reed’s involvement.
