WWE RAW Results – February 23, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s coverage of WWE RAW on February 23, from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves opened the show in the ring, ready to introduce the AJ Styles celebration, when Gunther stormed out and cut them off. He barked at Graves to stop talking and ordered both announcers back to the desk so they could “tell the Netflix audience how great he is.” The crowd fired back with a loud “You tapped out” chant, which only pushed Gunther to call them idiots for honoring AJ Styles. He mocked the idea of celebrating “losers” like Bill Goldberg, John Cena, and Styles, bragging that he ended their careers and insisting the night should be about him instead.
Adam Pearce marched out with security, shouting that Gunther had said enough. His microphone wasn’t working in the arena, but his frustration was clear as he slammed it and cursed. Pearce declared that tonight’s celebration was for a great wrestler, and Gunther would be escorted out. Gunther agreed to leave on his own, claiming he didn’t want to witness the “disgrace” happening later. He stepped out of the ring, warned security not to touch him, and laughed as he walked up the ramp.
Before he could exit fully, Dragon Lee blindsided him with an attack. Security swarmed in to pull Lee away as Gunther stormed off in a rage.
Backstage in Gorilla Position, Pearce shoved Gunther forward while the Intercontinental Champion fumed. Dragon Lee jumped him again, and the two brawled until security dragged Lee back. Pearce told Gunther this simply wasn’t his night. Cody Rhodes then walked into frame, giving Gunther a look of pure disgust before heading toward the stage.
In the Arena:
“The American Nightmare” made his entrance to a huge ovation from the Atlanta crowd, soaking in a long “Cody” chant before the audience began singing his name. He paused, visibly moved, then said he knew exactly why everyone was here: to honor “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles. He called Styles wrestling royalty and prepared to continue—until The Vision cut him off.
Paul Heyman appeared on the stage with Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory. The crowd booed Heyman before he could speak, prompting Theory to jump in and complain about the disrespect. Theory said he was ashamed to be from Atlanta, accusing the crowd of slighting both The Vision and the Wise Man.
Logan Paul took the microphone next, mocking Rhodes and the city. He said Rhodes had “zero common sense” for showing up on RAW and claimed that once Bronson Reed wins tonight, then wins the Elimination Chamber, and then wins at WrestleMania, The Vision will take over SmackDown. Paul added that Rhodes would be the first one pushed out the door. He ended with a sarcastic “God bless all of you” before announcing Reed’s Qualifying Match would begin immediately.
Rhodes responded by saying he wasn’t so sure about that. He hinted that someone else might disagree—and that’s when the World Tag Team Champions, The Usos, emerged through the crowd. Original El Grande Americano is next.

Paul does his introduction for himself and Brock.
Paul says Wrestlemania traditionally has two main events, the title match and the Undertaker streak. Paul reminds us that Brock ended Undertaker’s streak so that main event spot went to Brock. The only dead man walking is the one who comes down the aisle to face Brock. Who will fight Brock at Wrestlemania? He does not have a prediction or spoiler because there was not one person man enough that he could identify to take the ass kicking of biblical proporations at Westlemania against Brock.
Paul says these are Brock’s appearances on the Road to Wrestlemania. Will be on the five Raws starting on March 16th. If anyone wants to experience a victimization, all that man has to do is get in the face of Brock Lesnar. Paul says he doesn’t think that is going to happen. No one will answer Brock’s open challenge. You can have all the title matches you want, the real main event is whomever is going to get their ass kicked and conquered by Brock. There is no one in that locker room with the balls to take that ass kicking at Wrestlemania from Brock.
Paul drops the mic.

We Hear from Finn Balor
Finn Balor says CM Punk isn’t the only person with someone mad at him. He needs to prove why he has to do it on his own. He needs to prove to the doubters and Judgment Day that he can be champion. It has been ten years. When he lost to Punk in Belfast, he learned to stop asking himself what if and saying when. When you beat CM Punk. When you become World Champ. When you main event Wrestlemania, there will be no what ifs. People will know who is the best in the world.
In the Arena:
CM Punk makes his way to the ring.
Punk says tonight is not about him. He says he is here to celebrate AJ Styles so he says the crowd can chant for AJ. Punk says he wants to save time for AJ to speak to his people. He has a big day in front of his people in Chicago. He needs to address a few things. He asks what if this was the last time he got to say if it is great to be alive and in Atlanta? What if? Finn talked about what ifs. What if you didn’t jump him in Toronto and ruin the last time he would share a ring with AJ Styles? You wouldn’t be getting a title shot. It is risky being a fighting champion. He says he is doing the best he can. He is giving you a fighting champion and following in the footsteps of the great.
People like Terry Funk, Harley Race, The Undertaker, Bret Hart, and others.
He says he doesn’t like to deal in what ifs? Punk asks what if Roman Reigns was here tonight? This is why he doesn’t like dealing in what ifs because it isn’t rooted in reality. He says he is in every town with boots on the ground. What if Finn Balor beats him and he loses? No risk, no reward. The reality is that Roman will be here next week. What if he doesn’t wait until Wrestlemania and he punches him in his stupid face next week? He doesn’t deal in what ifs, he deals in facts. He will ask Finn and Roman ask themselves what if. He doesn’t have to say what if he was champioin because he is. He doesn’t have to ask what if he was the best in the world because he is best in the world. He doesn’t have to ask what if he is in the main event of Wrestlemania because he is the main event.

WWE RAW Preview – February 23, 2026
WWE RAW on February 23, 2026, goes live tonight from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, and the show is shaping up to be one of the most emotional and storyline‑heavy episodes of the year. With the road to WrestleMania 42 heating up, WWE is stacking the card with major segments, high‑stakes matches, and a tribute that promises to close the night on a powerful note.
AJ Styles will be honored in his home state following his retirement at the 2026 Royal Rumble. After stepping up to challenge GUNTHER and putting his career on the line, Styles fell short against The Ring General, ending a legendary run that spanned more than two decades. WWE plans to celebrate his career tonight, and placing the tribute in the main event slot signals a heartfelt farewell rather than a storyline twist.
The Women’s Royal Rumble winner, Liv Morgan, is also set to make her long‑awaited WrestleMania 42 decision. Morgan has spent weeks weighing whether to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship or Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship. After Vaquer interrupted Morgan and Dominik Mysterio’s interview last week and Cargill declared she was ready for any challenger on SmackDown, Morgan will finally reveal her choice tonight.
In the ring, Nattie looks to rebound after losing last week’s Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier. She faces her former mentee Maxxine Dupri in a rematch of their February 9 encounter, which ended in a double countout after both women brawled outside the ring. Their rivalry has escalated quickly, and tonight offers a chance for one of them to gain momentum.
Two more Elimination Chamber Triple Threat Qualifiers will determine the final entrants for both Chamber matches. IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, and Raquel Rodriguez battle for the last spot in the Women’s Chamber, joining Rhea Ripley, Asuka, Tiffany Stratton, Kiana James, and Alexa Bliss. On the men’s side, Jey Uso faces OG El Grande Americano and Bronson Reed, with the winner joining Cody Rhodes, Trick Williams, LA Knight, Je’Von Evans, and Randy Orton.
World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is also scheduled to speak as he prepares to defend his title against Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber. Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar is set to appear, adding even more star power to an already loaded show.
