Jade Cargill is heading into this weekend’s Elimination Chamber event with absolute confidence, making it clear that whoever survives the women’s Chamber match in Chicago will simply be stepping up to lose to her at WrestleMania 42. The WWE Women’s Champion spoke with Chicago Sports Network ahead of the show and dismissed the Chamber stakes as irrelevant to her own path.
The women’s Elimination Chamber will determine Cargill’s challenger for WrestleMania, with names like Rhea Ripley in the mix. But Cargill brushed off the entire field, saying the result won’t change what happens on the grandest stage.
“We have CM Punk in the house. We have so many. We have the Elimination Chamber with Rhea. Oh, my gosh. I’m trying to think who all it is,” Cargill said. “Because at the end of the day, whoever wins the Elimination Chamber faces me. But it doesn’t even matter. I’m winning at WrestleMania, and I’m still going to be undefeated at WrestleMania. So it really doesn’t matter.”
Cargill added that she’s focused on the women’s division as a whole, praising the roster’s recent performances. “It’s going to be great. It’s going to be great, but I’m just trying to focus on the women right now because the women division has been killing it.”
The champion’s comments come just days after Liv Morgan officially chose Stephanie Vaquer as her WrestleMania opponent, leaving Cargill waiting to see who emerges from the Chamber. But based on her confidence, Cargill believes the identity of her challenger is irrelevant—because she expects to walk out of WrestleMania still undefeated.
