An injury update has surfaced regarding Bronson Reed following this week’s episode of WWE RAW.
Reed was hurt during the opening match of the broadcast, which forced WWE to alter the planned finish. On commentary, Michael Cole informed viewers that Reed had suffered a torn biceps.
According to a report from PWInsider, the injury has been identified as a distal bicep tear. The report added that Reed was sent from Monday’s RAW in Atlanta to Birmingham, Alabama, where he is expected to undergo surgery if the procedure has not already taken place.
The injury occurred when Reed dove into the ring in an attempt to break up a pinfall. Immediately after landing, he grabbed his right arm, signaling that something was wrong. He then rolled to the floor, where WWE medical staff evaluated him. Officials displayed the X sign, indicating a legitimate injury situation.
Despite the setback, the match continued without Reed. It concluded with Jey Uso delivering a frog splash to Americano to claim the final spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
Reed had originally been scheduled to win the bout and qualify for the 2026 Elimination Chamber. Due to the injury, WWE was forced to adjust the outcome on the spot.
There is currently no official timetable for Reed’s return. A distal bicep tear typically requires surgery and several months of recovery, meaning he could be sidelined for an extended period.
