Chelsea Green Reacts to Major Praise From The Undertaker – The Undertaker has come to the defense of Chelsea Green following recent remarks made by WWE producer Michael Hayes regarding her role in the company.
During a discussion about Green’s place on the roster, Hayes stated that WWE did not intend for her to be positioned as a top star. Instead, he suggested that her role was to help elevate other talent. Those comments sparked conversation among fans, especially given Green’s consistent television presence and character work.
Speaking on his Six Feet Under platform, The Undertaker pushed back on that narrative. He described Green as “underutilized” but made it clear that he believes she has the tools to reach the top. According to The Undertaker, Green possesses the “it” factor that separates good performers from true stars. However, he added that she may need “a hair more mean streak” to fully break through into that upper tier.
Green quickly acknowledged the praise in her own way. She shared a mock cover of a special “Chelsea Chronicle,” featuring a still image of The Undertaker speaking with Hayes. The satirical headline read, “Underutilized President appoints The Undertaker as Secretary of Dark Affairs as tensions rise amid Unreal controversy.” The graphic also labeled The Undertaker as the number one “Patrihot,” continuing Green’s comedic political-style presentation.
The situation traces back to comments Hayes made on WWE Unreal, which streams on Netflix. Hayes later claimed that portions of his praise for Green were edited out. Despite that clarification, he maintained that her primary purpose was to elevate others and noted that her position on the card has remained consistent.
At present, Green is sidelined with an ankle injury and is not medically cleared to compete. Even so, she continues appearing on WWE SmackDown alongside Alba Fyre, who serves as her on-screen Secret Service ally. While her in-ring future remains on hold, the debate over her ceiling in WWE is far from settled.
