Updated List of Royal Rumble 2026 Entrants (1/19) – During the January 19 episode of WWE RAW in Belfast, WWE has officially confirmed several new entrants for Royal Rumble 2026, including the first group of competitors for the women’s match. The announcements provide a clearer picture of how the Rumble fields are beginning to take shape ahead of the premium live event.
The women’s Royal Rumble match will feature Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, and Asuka as confirmed participants. The 30-woman battle royal will determine a championship match at WrestleMania 42. The winner is set to challenge either Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer or WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill, assuming no title changes occur before WrestleMania.
On the men’s side, WWE has now confirmed six entrants. Cody Rhodes was the first name announced last week, and he has since been joined by Gunther, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and Penta. The field is expected to continue growing in the coming weeks as WWE reveals additional participants.
Gunther will have a busy night at the Royal Rumble event. In addition to entering the men’s Rumble match, he is also scheduled to face AJ Styles in a singles match with major stakes. If Styles loses that bout, he will be forced to retire, adding further significance to Gunther’s presence on the card.
Heading into WrestleMania season, CM Punk holds the World Heavyweight Championship, while Drew McIntyre is the reigning WWE Champion. The men’s Royal Rumble winner will earn the right to challenge one of those champions at WrestleMania 42, depending on the winner’s decision.
Royal Rumble 2026 will take place on Saturday, January 31, from Saudi Arabia. The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern Time. In the United States, the show will stream live on the ESPN app, while international viewers will be able to watch on Netflix.
