Thunder Rosa Resumes Training for AEW Return – Thunder Rosa has taken a significant step toward returning to in-ring action. The former AEW Women’s Champion confirmed that she has resumed physical training after being sidelined with an undisclosed injury. Rosa has not competed since AEW All In Texas last year, and her latest update suggests her comeback process is now actively underway.
In a recent vlog, Rosa shared details about her progress and mindset as she works toward full clearance. She explained that she has already completed her first week back in training and is now continuing that routine. Rosa said, “I had my training already. First week we did okay, but we’re back on the road.” The comment reflects a cautious but steady approach as she rebuilds strength and conditioning following the injury.
The video was filmed backstage during a recent episode of AEW Dynamite. While there, Rosa was seen interacting with several members of the roster, including Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa. Although she has not yet returned to competition, her presence at Dynamite tapings indicates she is staying connected to the AEW locker room while continuing her recovery.
Rosa also made it clear that her goal is not simply to return, but to perform at a high level immediately. She outlined a demanding objective for herself as part of her preparation. According to Rosa, she is training with the intention of being able to wrestle extended matches as soon as she is cleared. In the vlog, she stated, “I’m here at AEW, getting ready warm up for my second week of training. I’m going to make sure I’m totally warmed up cause we’re going to do half an hour in the ring. So, that’s what we’re doing.”
This focus on endurance suggests Rosa is aiming to return without limitations rather than easing back slowly. While there is no confirmed timeline for her in-ring return, her update confirms that her rehabilitation has progressed to active ring preparation. For now, Rosa continues to train while remaining involved with AEW behind the scenes.
