Rush and Dralistico Expected to Miss Significant Time, Surgeries Likely for Both – As 2025 winds down, La Faccion Ingobernable may be without two of its key members for an extended period. A new report from Bryan Alvarez indicates that both Rush and Dralistico are dealing with serious injuries that have worsened due to repeatedly postponing medical treatment. Their decisions to work through the pain were reportedly tied to a desire to secure consistent opportunities on AEW Collision and AEW Dynamite, but the long-term effects have now become unavoidable.
Rush’s situation appears to be the most severe. Alvarez’s report notes that Rush has been wrestling with a lingering knee injury for years, and his determination to remain available for AEW’s main programming only intensified the damage. On a recent media call, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that Rush has been pulled from the upcoming ROH Final Battle event, where he had been scheduled to challenge Bandido for the ROH World Championship. He has already vacated the ROH Tag Team Titles he held with Sammy Guevara as a result of the injury.
“We are told Rush has been working with a bad knee for years, but because he wanted opportunities on Collision and Dynamite he didn’t want to take time off. Working through it made it worse, and as Tony Khan noted in a media call this week, he’s off the Ring of Honor Final Battle show and almost certainly needs surgery. He will be evaluated in the next week or so and almost certainly undergo surgery. It is believed he had knee surgery previously in Mexico but it was messed up and didn’t solve the problem.”
Guevara is now scheduled to team with The Beast Mortos at Final Battle in a match for the vacant titles. Meanwhile, Rush’s original spot on the card has been replaced by a multi-man Survival of the Fittest match.
Dralistico is also expected to undergo surgery after suffering an ear injury in two separate matches. Like Rush, he continued competing in hopes of earning a consistent role on AEW’s main shows, but the pain eventually became too much to ignore.
“Dralistico suffered injuries to his ear in two different matches. He also worked through it since he was hoping to get regular work on the main roster, but eventually it became too painful and he was told he’d need surgery to fix it. He’s either already undergone surgery or will undergo surgery shortly.”
With both brothers likely to miss a considerable amount of time, La Faccion Ingobernable’s future in AEW and ROH programming may look very different heading into 2026.
