Possible Spoiler on Drew McIntyre’s Role at WWE Survivor Series – Drew McIntyre’s recent on-screen suspension during the November 7 episode of WWE SmackDown sparked rumors about his WWE status, but it appears the Scottish Warrior isn’t going anywhere. Despite the dramatic storyline, McIntyre remains a key part of WWE’s creative plans heading into Survivor Series.
According to Ibou of Self Made, McIntyre is being discussed internally as a possible entrant for the Survivor Series WarGames match. When asked for an update, Ibou confirmed, “Yes. He’s been discussed for War Games.”
This clarification ends the speculation that McIntyre’s “suspension” was designed to give him time off to film a movie. Reports indicate that his punishment is strictly storyline-related, with no legitimate absence scheduled. In fact, sources suggest that McIntyre could return to television sooner than expected — possibly in time to make an impact before Survivor Series.
Currently, the babyface side of the WarGames match features CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso, with John Cena also expected to join the team. On the heel side, names being discussed include Austin Theory, Brock Lesnar, and now Drew McIntyre, with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Logan Paul confirmed.
Given McIntyre’s ongoing tension with Cody Rhodes and his visible frustration over recent setbacks, a heel role inside WarGames seems like a natural progression. His intensity, experience, and physical dominance could make him a major threat in the chaotic team environment that defines the match.
If McIntyre does join the heel faction, his involvement would inject even more unpredictability into what is already shaping up to be one of WWE’s most anticipated Survivor Series main events in years.
