Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace Named Special Guest Referees for NXT Vs TNA Showdown – TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella announced Sunday on social media that Joe Hendry will serve as the special guest referee for the men’s NXT vs. TNA Survivor Series Elimination Match on this Tuesday’s NXT Showdown. The decision followed Hendry’s own social media posts, where he expressed his desire to be part of the Survivor Series elimination matches, citing his prior appearances at the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania as TNA Champion.
On the same day, Jordynne Grace also pushed to be included in the event after she and Hendry learned that neither NXT nor TNA captains had selected them for their respective teams. Grace took to social media to ask NXT General Manager Ava to intervene. Ava responded by naming Grace the special guest referee for the women’s Survivor Series Elimination Match.
