Hendry’s theme music hit, cutting off Trick mid-promo. The crowd erupted as Joe Hendry appeared in the ring behind him. Hendry landed a pair of clotheslines before tossing Trick over the top rope, sending a clear message to the NXT and TNA Champion.
According to a new report from Bodyslam.net, sources within WWE NXT have indicated that Hendry is expected to continue working with the company at least through TNA’s Slammiversary event next month.
Hendry has quickly become a fan favorite during his NXT cameos, bringing his signature charisma and musical flair to WWE programming. While no official announcement has been made about his exact match plans, his presence has added intrigue to the cross-promotional effort between the two companies.
