Young Bucks Praise ‘Hangman’ Adam Page – AEW stars Matt and Nick Jackson, better known as The Young Bucks, recently reflected on the journey of their longtime friend and current AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page. In an interview with Justin Barrasso, the brothers opened up about sharing the ring with Page during his biggest career milestones and the pride they feel watching his growth.
Matt Jackson spoke about the unique perspective of being present for both of Page’s AEW World Championship victories. “It’s not lost on me how cool it has been to be part of so many of his big moments,” Matt said. “Being involved in the main event also gave me the privilege to prop myself up on a guardrail and watch the finish. I covered my smiling mouth with my hand. So proud.”
The Bucks’ connection with Page dates back to 2016 when he joined their popular YouTube series Being The Elite. According to Matt, the potential was evident from the start. “Hangman was young, handsome, and unexposed. And he had the right attitude… he had all the tools, instincts, and talent. He’s become bigger than I ever expected.”
The brothers also commented on the emotional atmosphere surrounding the recent All In: Texas pay-per-view, particularly the main event between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada. The bout, regarded as a historic clash, left the AEW locker room buzzing and further highlighted the promotion’s ability to deliver marquee matches.
The Young Bucks were also in the spotlight at All In: Texas, where they lost their on-screen Executive Vice President roles after a tag team match. Looking ahead, they remain in contention for championship gold as they prepare to face “Brodido” (Brody King & Bandido) in the semifinals of the AEW World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament.
