You know, people speculating [the] Royal Rumble. Nobody has officially said anything, nor will anyone officially say anything.”
The speculation has only intensified due to Jericho’s absence from AEW programming. He was written off television back in April, and there have been no clear updates on his in-ring status with the company. Adding more fuel to the conversation, Jericho recently “liked” a social media post that mentioned the idea of him returning to WWE, a small move that generated significant fan reaction.
With Jericho’s commitments to his band Fozzy now wrapped up for the time being, his schedule has opened up, leaving him free for a full-time wrestling comeback should he choose that path. That availability, combined with ongoing talks in WWE’s creative circles, has made the possibility of Jericho resurfacing in the company where he cemented much of his legacy all the more intriguing.
