Special Start Time Announced for August 25 WWE RAW in England – WWE has announced two matches for the August 25 edition of RAW, which will air live from Birmingham, England with a special start time of 3 p.m. EST on Netflix. This show marks the final episode before the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event on August 31.
One of the featured bouts will see Rhea Ripley clash with Roxanne Perez. The match was set after Ripley stepped in to help IYO SKY this week on RAW, saving her from a two-on-one attack by Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. Ripley and Perez have been building tension in recent weeks, and they will now settle things in singles action.
Another announced contest will continue the feud between Penta and The New Day. After Penta secured a singles victory over Xavier Woods on the August 18 episode, he now turns his attention to Woods’ tag team partner, Kofi Kingston. With both sides trading momentum, this rivalry remains heated heading into Clash in Paris.
In addition to those matches, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is scheduled to appear on the show. Bella has been lobbying for a Women’s Intercontinental Championship opportunity against current champion Becky Lynch, and her Birmingham appearance is expected to further push her campaign. Whether Lynch responds remains to be seen, but with Clash in Paris approaching, Bella’s intentions could soon become clear.
With two major matches, a Hall of Famer appearance, and the final hype before Clash in Paris, the August 25 RAW promises to be an important stop on WWE’s summer calendar.
