Triple H Discusses Possibility of More Two-Night WWE PLEs

Triple H Discusses Possibility of More Two-Night WWE PLEs – Paul “Triple H” Levesque appeared on ESPN’s SportsCenter today, where he was asked whether WWE is considering expanding its two-night premium live event format beyond WrestleMania and SummerSlam. While he didn’t provide a definitive answer, Levesque made it clear that the company’s focus remains on giving fans the biggest possible experience.

“As far as will more of our larger events go to two nights? I think time will tell,” Levesque said. “It’s really, for us, about super-serving our fans. Just like for ESPN, you guys thrive on super-serving your fan base and the people that watch. So do we. It’s what we want to do. So when we can turn these into bigger events, make them destination weekends for fans, that’s what we will do. It’s all about our fans — our WWE Universe — and making them happy.”

WrestleMania has been a two-night show since 2020, and SummerSlam was expanded to two nights for the first time earlier this month. Levesque confirmed that SummerSlam will return to the two-night format again in 2026, though no other PLEs have been announced for the same treatment.

The SportsCenter appearance came as part of a major day for WWE and ESPN, as it was revealed that their partnership will begin earlier than planned with WWE Wrestlepalooza on Saturday, September 20, in Indianapolis. Originally, the multi-year deal was expected to begin in 2026, but the two sides moved up the launch. Levesque also confirmed that Pat McAfee will be part of the Wrestlepalooza event.

To coincide with the announcement, ESPN officially launched its new streaming service today. The service will carry all WWE PLEs and is priced at $29.99 per month or $299.99 annually, with existing cable subscribers receiving access at no additional cost.
