Roman Reigns Confirmed for Final Two RAW Episodes Before SummerSlam – Roman Reigns is officially scheduled to appear on both of the final episodes of WWE RAW leading into the two-night SummerSlam extravaganza.
Following his dramatic return to WWE television this week, Reigns is now advertised for the July 21 and July 28 editions of RAW, emanating from the Toyota Center in Houston and the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, respectively.
Reigns had not been seen on WWE programming since the chaotic aftermath of WrestleMania 41, where longtime advisor Paul Heyman shockingly betrayed him in favor of Seth Rollins. Heyman has since aligned himself with a new powerhouse faction that includes Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, leaving Reigns isolated—until now.
The closing moments of this week’s RAW saw Reigns come to the aid of CM Punk and Jey Uso, fending off a brutal post-match attack from Breakker and Reed. Earlier in the night, Punk had survived a grueling gauntlet match and ultimately defeated Breakker to secure a World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther at SummerSlam.
Reigns’ presence on the final two RAW episodes before the premium live event signals that his SummerSlam plans are taking shape—likely involving some confrontation or collision with the Heyman-led faction. With Rollins rumored to be out of action due to injury, Reigns may find himself facing Breakker, Reed, or possibly both, in a major spotlight match on either night of the two-day showcase.
This year marks the first time SummerSlam has been expanded to two nights, taking place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3. With Reigns now locked in for the road to SummerSlam, the buildup is set to escalate in dramatic fashion.
