NXT Viewership Drops to 2025 Low Against MLB All-Star Game

NXT Viewership Drops to 2025 Low Against MLB All-Star Game – The July 15th episode of WWE NXT on The CW Network saw a significant drop in viewership, drawing just 586,000 viewers, according to Programming Insider. This marks a sharp decline from the 695,000 viewers who tuned in for the July 8th episode and represents the lowest audience for NXT since July 2024.

The drop wasn’t limited to total viewers. Tuesday’s show also scored a 0.12 rating in the 18–49 demographic, down from 0.16 the previous week. That demo number is the lowest for NXT since March 2023. The show failed to crack the top ten programs of the night, likely due in part to stiff competition from the MLB All-Star Game on FOX, which pulled in 7.185 million viewers and a 1.43 demo rating, easily topping the evening.

This week’s episode was the direct follow-up to NXT Great American Bash and included multiple cross-promotional appearances from TNA Wrestling talent. Mike Santana, Joe Hendry, The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers & Jason Dugan Callihan), and Masha Slamovich all appeared on the broadcast as part of the buildup to TNA Slammiversary, which airs this Sunday, July 20.

Despite the ratings dip, NXT generated strong engagement on YouTube. The top five most-viewed clips from the episode include:

  • Jordynne Grace goes on a rampage after Blake Monroe’s betrayal169K views
  • THE UNDERTAKER?! | Trick Williams throws massive shade at The Deadman166K views
  • FULL MATCH: Masha Slamovich, Sol Ruca & Zaria vs. Fatal Influence111K views
  • The System take over NXT with vicious beatdown108K views
  • Masha Slamovich invades NXT to confront Jacy Jayne95K views

With TNA Slammiversary taking place this weekend at the UBS Arena and a growing number of TNA crossovers on NXT, it remains to be seen whether the intrigue around the interpromotional storyline will be enough to boost future ratings.
