AEW Dynamite Viewership Drops for June 25 Episode – The June 25 episode of AEW Dynamite saw a noticeable drop in viewership despite a show packed with high-profile segments and storyline progression.
According to Wrestlenomics, the episode averaged 613,000 viewers and drew a 0.15 rating in the coveted 18–49 demographic. That’s a significant decrease from the 736,000 viewers and 0.21 demo rating registered by the June 18 broadcast. At this time, viewership numbers for the show’s simulcast on Max remain unavailable.
Despite the drop, AEW delivered a storyline-heavy show. The night opened with Mercedes Moné attacking Toni Storm backstage. The brawl spilled out onto the stage before security and Mina Shirakawa intervened to break things up, escalating the tensions in the women’s division.
In tag team action, Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland defeated Blake Christian and Lee Johnson in a fast-paced showcase. Afterward, the duo issued a major challenge to the Young Bucks, calling for a match at All In with the EVP titles on the line.
The show also featured qualifying matches for upcoming Casino Gauntlet bouts. Kris Statlander and Mark Briscoe each won their respective four-way matches to earn the coveted number one entrant positions.
In the main event, Hangman Page secured a victory over The Beast Mortos. After the match, the Young Bucks and the Death Riders launched a post-match assault on Page. However, The Opps and Will Ospreay stormed the ring to even the odds and close the show on a high-energy note.
AEW will look to rebound in the ratings next week as build-up continues toward All In.
