6/25 AEW Dynamite Live Results – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s coverage of AEW Dynamite on June 25, live from the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington.

We are backstage, where Toni Storm and Luther are blindsided by Mercedes Mone, who beats Storm around the backstage area and welcomes fans to Dynamite as she drags Storm into the arena.

Mercedes gets on the mic and says that she refuses to be embarrassed by last week’s sneak attack in Mexico. She locks in the Bank Statement but is interrupted by Mina Shirakawa’s music. Shirakawa runs off Mone and checks on Storm.

– The Young Bucks appear on the screen to announce that Swerve and Ospreay’s tag match has been moved to right now.

Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland vs. Blake Christian & Lee Johnson

Swerve and Johnson start the match for their teams. They trade wristlocks. Both men continue to evade each other. Johnson tags in Christian. Ospreay tags in.

Ospreay chops away at Christian. Ospreay maintains dominance and hits an Atomic Drop. Strickland tags in. Johnson runs in to help but eats a double boot from Swerve and Ospreay. Ospreay gets a nearfall on Christian. Ospreay hits a springboard Enzuigiri. Ospreay takes out Johnson at ringside with a Plancha. Ospreay sets up for a springboard attack but The Young Bucks’ music hits. Matt and Nick make their entrance, distracting Ospreay. Blake Christian takes advantage and wipes out Ospreay with a dive. We head to commercial.

Back from commercial, and Blake Christian is keeping up his offense. Him and Johnson crush Ospreay with a series of splashes. Christian hits a springboard 450 splash and covers, but Swerve breaks up the pin. Ospreay hits an enzugiri and tags in Swerve. Swerve neutralizes Christian and Johnson with kicks. Swerve Buckle Bombs Johnson into Christian. He hits a series of kicks on Christian. He hits a running apron pump kick on Johnson and then gets back in the ring to drop Christian and get a nearfall. Christian counters Big Pressure. Johnson tries to intervene but eats a running elbow from Ospreay. Swerve hits a Brainbuster. Swerve hits House Call on Christian for the pinfall.

WINNERS: Will Ospreay & Swerve Strickland

After the match, Will and Swerve want to get at the Bucks, but Security runs out. Swerve on the mic. Year after year, they have had to deal with the same bullcrap from the Bucks. And this year, they will do something about it. The most dangerous man and the Aerial Assassin against the Young Bucks. And they know just the perfect place to do it, ALL-IN! Will on the mic. YES, BRUV! He thinks they should up the stakes. They are the founding fathers, but the reason that AEW exists is because of the people who supported them. Tell Will if he is wrong, but they are done with the power that they possess. They have done worse than good in this company. Will wants the Bucks to put their EVP titles on the line! Swerve dives out of the ring and takes everyone out on the floor! Will throws the office chair away! Chaos reigns!

– Backstage, The Young Bucks chastise Swerve and Ospreay. Nicholas says, Swerve, are you a dumbass? Matthew says that, according to the rulebook, you put your hands on an AEW EVP, so you’re out for a week without pay! Okada is here with members of the DCF. Rocky Romero says how odd is this that they are now on the same side after their history together. Matthew says that they don’t have a problem with them, but their boss is kind of a dick. Matthew says it is about strapping Okada up so he beats Omega at All-In. They need to do a number on him, and Trent needs to do a job on Kota. Trent says watch what he does to Ibushi. Eveyrone leaves except for Takeshita and Okada. Konosuke tells him this is only temporary. Okada says, yeah okay, and walks away, as Takeshita stares a hole in the back of his head.

Kota Ibushi vs. Trent Beretta

They lock up, and Ibushi drives Trent to the ropes. Trent reverses the momentum and then breaks the hold. They trade waistlocks. Ibushi grounds Trent, and the two men trade holds and pinfall attempts. Ibushi levels Trent with a dropkick. Trent comes back with a lariat and pummels Ibushi on the ropes. The referee breaks up the assault but Trent hist a sliding dropkick, sending Ibushi out of the ring. Trent distracts the referee while Rocky Romero attacks Ibushi.

Back in the ring, Ibushi dodges an attack and hits a powerslam. Ibushi hits a series of roundhouse kicks to the chest. Ibushi hits a standing moonsault for a nearfall. After a series of counters, Trent hits a Superkick. Trent hits a Shotgun Knee. Trent hits a Cradle Piledriver for a nearfall. Ibushi unleashes a flurry of strikes, but Trernt comes back with a Half-and-Half Suplex. Ibushi hits a Dragon Suplex. Both men are down. Ibushi recovers. Beretta dodges a Penalty Kick. They trade rollups. 

Trent hits a series of strikes, maintaining wrist control. Ibushi counters and takes Trent to the mat, where he hits a standing double stomp. Trent counters Kamigoye. Ibushi hits a V-Trigger. Ibushi hits Kamigoye for the pinfall.

WINNER: Kota Ibushi

After the match, Okada comes out and stares down Ibushi. Before anything can happen, Okada retreats.

Jon Moxley Ready To Show What A Real World Champion Is

We shoot to Jon Moxley in a stairwell. He says Hangman Page has lost focus, will he grab it? Moxley says he doesn’t think Page will. He says Page is afraid to become what the world needs him to be.

He says for someone like himself, to walk the walk he did, for him to be the current AEW Champion, Page makes him sick. He calls him a cry baby and says the World champion does not shy away from responsibility.

– He walks into the fire and takes an ounce of crap from nobody. He says on July 12, when Page is filling with his emotions, he will get elbowed in the face and choked into oblivion. Moxley will show the world what the world Champion looks like. We head to a break.

Backstage, Renee Young interviews AR Foxx. Foxx says he has momentum but gets interrupted by Ricochet. Ricochet asks Foxx to join him in fighting Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight. Foxx groans, but Ricochet shakes his hand and forces him into competing with him.

Ricochet & AR Foxx vs. Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey

Ricochet starts against Knight and immediately eats some right hands from Knight. Foxx is knocked to ringside, and Bailey and Knight pummel Ricochet. Foxx tags in and sends everyone to the outside. He hits a rolling foot stomp on Knight and then splashes Bailey.

Foxx maintains dominance over Knight and gets a nearfall. Foxx levels Knight with a lariat. Knight starts to fight back, to little avail. Ricochet comes in to help and gets knocked out of the ring. Bailey and Knight hit stereo planchas on Foxx and Ricochet. We head to commercial.

Back from commercial, and Foxx tags in to help Ricochet attack Knight, but they aren’t on the same page and start slapping each other. Knight hits Foxx with a pump kick and sends Ricochet out of the ring. Bailey tags in and hits a series of kicks on Foxx. Bailey hits a running Shooting Star Press but Ricochet breaks up the pin. Ricochet eats a stereo dropkick. Knight and Bailey hit a double team for a nearfall. Knight gets sent into Ricochet on the apron. Foxx dives out of the ring and takes out Bailey. Bailey comes back with a superkick but Foxx hits Lo Mein Pain on Bailey. Foxx is unable to cover.

Knight tags in and mounts a comeback. Knight hits Foxx with a UFO for the pinfall.

WINNERS: Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey

The Hurt Syndicate …Hurts People

Once the match wraps up, we see Ricochet unwrap his wrist tape on stage and head to the back. Tony Schiavone is on stage and he speaks with Jet Speed. Bailey tells him with great power comes great responsibility. But the AEW Tag Titles have been held hostage for too long and it’s time someone comes to their rescue.

Knight agrees with Bailey and he says it’s time for those titles to come home and that is around their waist. “1… 2… You hear the clock ticking. Tick tock you’re hurting some feelings.” As Knight is talking, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin attack them from behind.

Out come MVP and MJF with them, smiling. Lashley and Shelton throw them into the ring steps, barricade and ring apron. MVP tells MJF to go with him and they head to the back. Double snap suplexes onto the floor on the outside. MVP and MJF bring out a table and Shelton places Knight on it.

Lashley lifts Bailey up and chokeslams him through Knight and through the table. MVP asks for a microphone. He says now that they have taken care of that little business, MVP asks for music. MJF stands behind them and MVP tells them to start walking to the ring.

MVP says this is an official announcement from the Hurt Syndicate. He asks for someone to stand up to the AEW Tag Team Champions. And speaking of stand up, if Jet Speed can even stand up after that beating, he will be too willing to meet them at All In for the Tag Team titles, on the condition that they can walk.

MVP asks for everyone’s undivided attention as he hands the microphone over to the young genius, MJF. The fans boo and MJF thanks Montel. MJF says last week, he unmasked and defeated the lucha libre legend… MVP cuts him off as the fans boo MJF. He tells them to show MJF respect.

MJF says he is not there to talk about all of his accomplishments. He says that next week, he will be entering a qualifying match for the men’s Casino Gauntlet at All In Texas. And when he wins, he is going to get one step closer to what is rightfully his, not dictator Jon’s and not their crooked Cowboy Hangman. But his AEW World Championship.

MJF tells them to hit their music as they post but Mark Briscoe’s music hits and out he comes. Briscoe tells MJF that they all know that MJF can listen to himself talk all night long. However, the producer said that Max is taking so long once again and they will hit Briscoe’s music.

Briscoe asks them to leave the ring, that way he can take care of business. MJF says he doesn’t care about what time it is, they can take up as much time as they want because unlike Mark, they are actually stars. MJF says the fans love Mark and they like him because they can relate to him.

They all grew up dirt ugly and dirt poor. He is willing to bet that everyone in the arena and at home have as much bills in their pockets as he does teeth in his mouth. MJF calls Briscoe a blue collar bitch. Briscoe calls him hilarious but he sees his inner turmoil, that pain, where it all comes from.

He says the word of the day is empathy. The fans chant “empathy” and Briscoe says that Max is trying to compensate for something, like all of these hurtful comments from him come from a place of insufficiency in a place of. He says if he was MJF going 30 years with a teeny, tiny, kosher pickle in his pants, he would hang out with those guys too.

MVP tells Briscoe that they are about business, this is not business. He tells MVP they will all exit the ring as the fans chant “kosher pickle”. MVP says they will exit the ring and leave Mark to do what he does better than anyone else, they will watch him lose.

Casino Gauntlet Four Way
Bandido vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Roderick Strong (Winner is #1 Entrant in Men’s Casino Battle Royal at All In: Texas)

All four men trade blows to start. Takeshita and Bandido pair off, delivering athletic offense against each other. Takeshita takes Bandido out of the ring. Briscoe and Strong take center stage and trade forearms. Briscoe hits a baseball slide, taking out the men at ringside. We head to commercial.

Back from commercial, and Roderick Strong is dominating Bandido. Strong sends Briscoe and Takeshita out of the ring. After a big move, both Bandido and Strong are down. They get to their feet and trade blows. Bandido comes back with a Pop-Up Cutter. Bandido heads to the top rope and is sent crashing to ringside by Takeshita. Briscoe does the same to Takeshita. Briscoe misses Froggy Bow and Strong rolls him up for a nearfall. They trade strikes. Strong hits a series of running forearms. Takeshita interrupts and takes Strong to the top rope, where he hits a Superplex. Bandido hits Frog Splash on Strong. Briscoe hits Froggy Bow on Takeshita. Briscoe breaks up Bandido’s pin and then gets a nearfall on Takeshita. Briscoe and Bandido trade blows.

Bandido goes ofr 21-Plex but Takeshita hits both men with a German Suplex for a nearfall. Strong and Takeshita trade counters. Strong hits a Gutbuster. Takeshita hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a nearfall. Takeshita gathers his strength but gets hit with a dropkick. Bandido hits a Modified GTS. Bandido hits Takeshita with 21-Plex. Takeshita rolls out fo the ring. Strong levels Bandido with a jumping knee. Strong hits End of Heartache. Mark Briscoe hits Froggy Bow on Strong for the pinfall.

WINNER: Mark Briscoe

Adam Cole Issues An Open Challenge

Backstage, Adam Cole is shown talking about his issues with The Don Callis Family. He issues an open challenge to anyone from The Don Callis Family for tomorrow night’s special Thursday episode of AEW Collision.

Women’s Casino Gauntlet Qualifier
Willow Nightingale vs. Thunder Rosa vs. Athena vs. Kris Statlander (Winner is #1 Entrant in Women’s Casino Battle Royal at All In: Texas)

Statlander throws Athena into danger to start. Willow takes Athena to the outside and hits an apron Cannonball. Rosa uses her speed to keep Statlander at bay. Rosa goes for a roll up but Willow breaks it up. Athena dodges a Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors. Athena gets all three women in various corners and hits a series of strikes. Athena goes to the top rope but Statlander stops her. Thunder joins the two women on the top rope, opening up Willow for a Tower of Doom. We head to commercial.

Back from commercial, and Rosa is getting the better of Athena. Athena comes back, but Rosa counters with a Crucifix for a nearfall. Willow and Statlander clear the ring and stare each other down. After a series of evasions, both women hit big elbow strikes. Athena takes advantage, but eats a double suplex from Willow and Statlander. Thunder Rosa hits a big dropkick from the top rope. Rosa is not able to get a pinfall. After a sloppy sequence, Rosa hits a Sunset Flip. Athena rolls through and goes for a deadlift powerbomb but Statlander stops it. Athena fights off a double team but Willow drills her into the canvas for a nearfall.

Rosa hits a big dropkick but doesn’t capitalize. Athena pulls Thunder out of the ring. Billie Starkz grabs the ROH Women’s Title but before Athena can use it, Rosa sends her intop the steel steps. Athena suplexes Rosa off the steel steps.

In the ring, Willow hits a Cannonball. Statlander counters a deadlift Powerbomb. Marina Shafir shows up. Wheeler Yuta shows up. Willow hits Yuta with a Pounce. Statlander takes advantage of the distraction and hits a Tombstone Slam for the pinfall.

WINNER: Kris Statlander

– Backstage, Renee Young interviews FTR and Stokely Hathaway. Stokely challenges The Outrunners to a tag match on Collision.

Hangman Page vs. The Beast Mortos

They lock up. They trade holds. They trade more holds. Mortos headbutts Page in the chest. Mortos hits a series of lariats. Page comes back with a lariat of his own. Mortos is sent out of the ring. Mortos gets on the apron, Page hits a springboard lariat. Page sends Mortos back in the ring. Page hits a Fallaway Slam into the corner for a nearfall. We head to commercial.

Back from commercial, and both men trade blows. Hangman builds momentum and hits a big sitting Powerbomb for a nearfall. Mortos rolls out of the ring. Mortos blocks a Golden Moonsault. Hangman knocks him to the floor. Mortos dodges the moonsault and hits a Tornillo on Hangman. Mortos hits a Samoan Drop for a nearfall. Mortos hits a Tombstone Lungblower for a nearfall. Hangman counters a second Lungblower but Mortos counters with spiked rollup for a nearfall. Hangman levels Mortos and hits a rolling lariat. Hangman hits Buckshot Lariat for the pinfall.

WINNER: Hangman Page

The lights go out, when they come back up, The Young Bucks hit Page with a BTE Trigger. The Deathriders show up. Moxley slowly makes his way to the ring. Marina Shafir gives Moxley a chain. Moxley chokes Hangman with the chain. The Opps show up but are kept from interfering. Samoa Joe grabs a chair. Will Ospreay joins the fray. The Opps and Ospreay run off the Deathriders and The Young Bucks. Hangman is seemingly dead. We go off the air with the Medical Team attending to him.
