WWE Draft 2025 Likely Set for End of May – WWE is reportedly moving forward with plans to hold its annual Draft in 2025, and the event may take place as soon as the end of this month. According to WrestleVotes, the Draft is still scheduled to happen this year, though finding room in WWE’s already packed calendar has proven challenging.
During a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez stated that he’s heard WWE is targeting the Memorial Day weekend takeover in Tampa, Florida for the Draft. WWE is set to run multiple shows from the Yuengling Center, including Saturday Night’s Main Event, WWE Battleground, RAW, and NXT, all taking place over the holiday weekend.
Alvarez noted the potential timing, saying: “I was told it’s not set in stone, but very likely at the end of this month, when they’re doing that series of dates in Tampa, it’s very likely there might be a draft on that weekend or that week.”
If the Draft does happen at the end of May, fans could see several key NXT stars officially transition to the main roster. Alvarez highlighted Roxanne Perez, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and Kelani Jordan as likely candidates for call-ups. Notably, Roxanne has already been working regular main roster matches since the Royal Rumble, despite still being labeled an NXT talent.
“For whatever reason, Giulia and Roxanne are still considered NXT talents. Roxanne has been a regular on the main roster since Royal Rumble; she should be petitioning for main roster back pay,” Alvarez joked, emphasizing her frequent appearances.
Alvarez also suggested that recent WWE roster cuts in the women’s division may be part of an internal restructuring to make space for these impending call-ups: “There’s a reason that a lot of women were cut in the last couple of weeks, and that is because they are making room on the roster for a lot of other women to get called up.”
While WWE has yet to officially announce the 2025 Draft, all signs point to the end of May in Tampa as the most likely timeframe.
