The bout lived up to expectations, featuring an array of weapons, including steel chairs, tables, and even a barbed wire-wrapped chair.
The match’s climax saw Zayn deliver a Blue Thunder Bomb onto a pile of chairs, but Owens managed to kick out at two. Owens then turned the tide, placing a chair around Zayn’s neck and ramming him into the ring post twice. He followed up with a devastating powerbomb on the ring apron before hitting a second one to secure the victory.
According to Fightful Select, the barbed wire used in the match was reportedly not gimmicked or altered, as requested by at least one competitor.
Following the match, Owens continued his assault on Zayn. However, the chaos escalated further when Randy Orton made a surprise return. Orton stormed the ring and delivered an RKO to Owens. As Orton prepared to punt Owens, security rushed in, preventing him from landing the final blow.
With tensions high and Orton now in the mix, the fallout from this brutal encounter is sure to carry into RAW as WrestleMania 41 draws near.
