Tessa Blanchard on Possibly Wrestling “Live on Netflix” – Tessa Blanchard has reignited her wrestling career, recently making a triumphant return to TNA Wrestling at TNA Genesis. In her first match for the promotion in five years, Blanchard secured a victory over Jordynne Grace and is now focused on reclaiming her spot at the top of the TNA roster. However, she remains open to new possibilities, including the idea of performing on a global platform like Netflix.
In an interview on the DeLoco Podcast, Blanchard addressed the prospect of wrestling “live on Netflix,” referencing WWE RAW’s current home on the streaming service, as well as Netflix’s additional WWE content and international pay-per-views.
“Hey, like I said, never say never. Right now, my main focus is TNA Wrestling, what I can do in the TNA ring. Like I said, that’s kind of where I put everything on pause. So I always said I had unfinished business in the wrestling business. So to come back and kind of resume where we paused everything, it’s an honor. To be able to push the TNA brand, like I said, I believe it. There’s so many talented people, some people that I’ve gotten to share the ring with, some people that I haven’t yet. But all of us being under that TNA umbrella and this WWE partnership, it does nothing but help us. It’s an exciting time to be a part of TNA Wrestling.”
During the conversation, Blanchard also expressed her interest in facing WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.
“She’s phenomenal. I’ve watched some of her matches, and we actually did the first-ever Mae Young Classic for WWE together. But she was a different Rhea Ripley then. She was blonde hair, still tall, still built, still phenomenal in the ring. But she has just transformed into this absolute powerhouse over there. So yeah, I would be down for that,” Blanchard said.
