Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and More in Store for 1/9 NXT – As announced on New Year’s Evil, the January 9 episode of NXT will feature championship action as Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo will defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against OTM’s Lucien Price and Bronco Nima. Price and Nima earned a title shot by defeating Andre Chase and Duke Hudson.
The show will see more tag team action from the men’s division as the 2024 Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will kick off. While the bracket has yet to be revealed, it appears that this year’s tournament will include teams such as Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker, Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne, Axiom and Nathan Frazer, and Edris Enfoe and Malik Blade.
Additionally, Gigi Dolin and Cora Jade will look to squash their beef in a singles match. This will mark their second one-on-one bout as Jade previously beat Dolin last April.
