Adam Copeland will join forces with Sting and Darby Allin to take on Luchasaurus, Christian Cage, and Nick Wayne in a highly-anticipated matchup.
Adam Copeland’s decision to become the third member of their team was revealed on the November 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. This decision came after a brutal attack by Christian, Luchasaurus, and Wayne, who were attempting to end Copeland’s career with a conchairto. However, Darby and Sting came to his rescue, and Copeland responded by hitting Christian with a devastating spear and announcing his partnership with Sting and Darby for AEW Full Gear.
Additionally, the episode featured a defense of the AEW International Championship, as Orange Cassidy successfully defended his title against Claudio Castagnoli in a singles match. Following the bout, Cassidy was ambushed by Castagnoli and Moxley, who emerged from the crowd in his signature fashion.
In a backstage promo after the match, Moxley expressed his frustration with those who doubted him and counted him out. He issued a challenge to Orange Cassidy for an AEW International Championship match at AEW Full Gear. This sets the stage for an exciting showdown at the upcoming event.
Also set for Full Gear, Hangman Page will take on Swerve Strickland in a rematch from WrestleDream.
Page left the ring during an ROH Six-Man title defense on this week’s Dynamite to go after Strickland a week after Strickland invaded Page’s home in a pre-taped segment.
