Bron Breakker Vs Ilja Dragunov Announced For 7/11 NXT – Shawn Micheals made the announcement Friday afternoon on Twitter that the two will face off on Tuesday’s NXT.
The winner of that match will be the next to challenge Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship at The Great American Bash, which takes place on July 30.
“Following their brawl on @WWENXT this week, @UNBESIEGBAR_ZAR will take on @bronbreakkerwwe next Tuesday with the winner challenging @Carmelo_WWE for the NXT Championship at the Great American Bash. #WWENXT,” Michaels wrote.
Two weeks ago, Breakker ended that week’s NXT by storming out of Michaels’ office. On this week’s show, he wondered what would be next for him when Dragunov came to the ring. He said he would be the next to face off against Breakker as the two had a brawl.
Here is the lineup for Tuesday’s NXT:
- Number one contender’s match: Bron Breakker vs. Ilja Dragunov
- Finn Balor & The Judgment Day appear
- Stacks vs. Joe Coffey – if Stacks wins, Tony D’Angelo is freed from jail and they earn NXT Tag Team title match
- Cora Jade vs. Kelani Jordan
- Tiffany Stratton vs. Ivy Nile
- Andre Chase & Duke Hudson vs. Charlie Dempsey & Drew Gulak
- Bronco Lima & Lucien Price debut
