Tasha Steelz Defeats Mickie James - Crowned New Champion At Sacrifice

At Saturday’s IMPACT Sacrifice event, Tasha Steelz shocked the world, taking down Mickie James to become the new IMPACT Knockouts World Champion.

In a match between two of the biggest superstars in IMPACT Wrestling, Steelz opened things up by taking the fight to James before the bell even rang. The champion was able to recover in time to force things back to even footing. In the meantime, a battle broke out at ringside between Savannah Evans and a hurt Chelsea Green, causing chaos both inside and outside of the ring. Later in the match, both Steelz and James found themselves rolling out of the ring, where James eventually hit the Mick-DT that looked ready to end things.

Unfortunately for James, Savannah Evans was ready to help her friend, and ran into the ring to distract James before being thrown out. This gave Tasha enough time to get up, and this time it was Steelz who got the last laugh. Steelz began distracting the referee, allowing Evans to get involved and antagonize James once again. Once James finally turned her attention back to Steelz, she was immediately hit with a mid-air cutter that was more than enough for Steelz to win.
