Liv Morgan Injury Update and Details on FBI Arrest of Alleged Stalker

Liv Morgan Injury Update and Details on FBI Arrest of Alleged Stalker – Liv Morgan will be out of action for the foreseeable future after undergoing shoulder surgery. The operation follows an injury sustained during an episode of WWE RAW several weeks ago. While WWE has not issued a precise timetable for her return, recovery is expected to take months.

In a disturbing parallel development, further details have emerged regarding the man arrested earlier this month for allegedly stalking Morgan. The suspect, identified as Canadian national Shawn Chan, was taken into custody by the FBI on June 3 at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The information was revealed in an unsealed federal affidavit released on June 27, and first reported by The Independent.

According to the affidavit, Chan traveled from Canada to Orlando on May 26, claiming to customs officials that he would be staying at the WWE Performance Center. However, the affidavit clarified that the WWE PC does not offer any lodging accommodations.

On May 31, Chan allegedly drove two hours west to a home described in the documents as Morgan’s. Surveillance footage captured him arriving at approximately 5:20 p.m., where he was seen wandering through the yard, circling the house twice, and approaching the front porch. He attempted to find a spare key under the doormat, tampered with the front door’s locking mechanism, and attempted to open the door.

Disturbingly, Chan then retrieved a Sig Sauer MCX .177 air rifle that had reportedly been left outside. The weapon is capable of firing metal pellets at 600 feet per second. Chan was observed sitting on the porch with the rifle and later left a note near delivered packages, which stated in part:
“I came here to pay just a friendly visit, nothing more… Yea, I just wanted to let you know that I was here.”

WWE security identified Chan from the footage and notified local authorities. He was arrested without incident.

Chan now faces a federal charge of interstate domestic violence and is scheduled to appear in court in Orlando on July 18, 2025. If convicted, he could face up to five years in prison.

This incident marks at least the third time someone has trespassed at Morgan’s residence. It also recalls other cases of wrestler-targeted stalking, such as the highly publicized 2020 incident involving Sonya Deville, which also resulted in felony charges against the perpetrator.

WWE has not commented publicly on the latest developments, but sources confirm that security protocols have been tightened in light of the incident.

For fans, this serves as an important reminder: do not trust unverified or unofficial online accounts spreading rumors or personal information. These types of situations highlight the importance of respecting the privacy and safety of performers both inside and outside the ring.
