The show averaged 2.045 million viewers on FOX, which is up from last week’s show that did 1.944 million viewers, according to PWTorch. In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.54 rating, up from the 0.48 rating last week.
This is the first since the Throwback episode a month ago, which did 2.282 million viewers, that SmackDown has drawn 2 million viewers.
The show did have to go up against NBA and NHL playoff games. This was the go-home edition of SmackDown for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event.
The show featured Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Rey Mysterio in a Hell in a Cell Match, Otis vs. Angelo Dawkins, Kevin Owens & Big E vs. Crews & Commander Azeez in a tag team match, and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin.
— As for last week’s Dynamite episode, The show drew 552,000 viewers, which is up from the 487,000 viewers the show previously drew last week. In the 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.20, which is up from 0.19 last week.
Dynamite was moved to Friday night at 10pm EST due to TNT’s coverage of the NBA playoffs. Now, this week, the show will air on Saturday night before going back to its normal Wednesday timeslot on June 30th.
