WWE was without several of their stars for last night’s WWE RAW episode.
Although only a few stars weren’t able to work the tapings due to testing positive for COVID-19, there were others who haven’t confirmed if they tested positive but weren’t on Raw.
These stars include the likes Austin Theory, Natalya, Liv Morgan and Randy Orton.
WWE had advertised that Rey Mysterio would be on Monday’s show and he did make an appearance but wasn’t at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Instead, WWE had him film a segment alongside his son, Dominik, at home. They did a back and forth promo segment with Seth Rollins to continue that feud.
Dave Meltzer stated on today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that original plans called for the father and son to be at the TV tapings in person. However, plans changed and they did the segment from home.
Meltzer added that the likes of Mysterio, Dominik, Theory, and Orton not being at the TV tapings are NOT due to them testing positive for COVID-19. However, there’s no word on why they were absent.
In the case of Natalya, she was sent home alongside her husband and WWE producer, TJ Willson, because Wilson had a fever when he arrived at the tapings. It should be noted that they tested negative for the virus.
