WWE had to make changes to the script for this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW on the USA Network due to a few talent absences.
It turns out that Liv Morgan was originally supposed to wrestle on this show. Although she was mentioned in a backstage segment, she wasn’t seen on the episode.
Dave Meltzer noted on today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that the Ruby Riott vs Peyton Royce match wasn’t originally booked on the show, but rather a tag team match was, which would’ve seen Morgan and Riott vs. The IIconics.
Due to absences, WWE had to make do with the talent that they had.
There’s speculation that a possible reason Morgan wasn’t on this show was due to her taking a boat trip last week with Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, and Lana. It should be noted that Lana was featured on Raw this week, so take that rumor for what it is.
