Seth Rollins and Stephanie Vaquer Get New Challengers – A new rivalry began on this week’s special edition of WWE RAW from Perth, Australia, as Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer found herself face-to-face with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez during her championship celebration.
The segment opened with Jackie Redmond congratulating Vaquer for capturing the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship over the weekend. Vaquer reflected on her historic year, calling herself “blessed to be the first in history to win four titles in one year,” citing her reigns as NXT Women’s Champion, NXT Women’s North American Champion, TNA Knockouts World Champion, and now the Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.
Her celebration didn’t last long, as Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez interrupted. The duo, coming off a tag team loss to Bayley and Lyra Valkyria earlier in the night, confronted the new champion. Vaquer dismissed them, mocking their frustrations, but Perez quickly fired back, saying she would already be champion had she been given the same opportunity. Perez reminded Vaquer that she was the last woman to defeat IYO SKY — a win that took place on the August 12, 2025, episode of RAW.
Vaquer challenged Perez to “stop crying and do something,” prompting Perez to reply that she would “do it on her own time.” The heated exchange clearly set the stage for Vaquer’s first major feud as Women’s World Champion.
Later in the night, RAW closed with even bigger drama as CM Punk earned a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship and The Vision faction seemingly imploded. In the main event, Punk defeated Jey Uso and LA Knight in a Triple Threat Match to become the new number one contender for Seth Rollins’ title. The decisive moment came after LA Knight hit his BFT on Punk, only for Jey Uso to pull Knight from the ring. When Jey tried to capitalize, Punk countered with a GTS for the victory.
Following the match, Seth Rollins came to the stage with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. The Vision launched a brutal attack on Punk, with Breakker spearing him and Reed crushing him with a Tsunami. Rollins stood over Punk, vowing that he would “never win the championship.” But the celebration was short-lived — Breakker suddenly turned on Rollins, hitting his leader with a devastating spear.
