Update on Neville's WWE Status, Undisputed Era Missing Takeover Chicago?

Update on Neville's WWE Status, Undisputed Era Missing Takeover Chicago?
- NXT’s "TakeOver: Chicago" and the card already looks pretty loaded so far, but the Undisputed Era might not be included in the show as Dave Meltzer pointed out on Wrestling Observer Radio how it looks like the fact that Undisputed Era is so much in demand might actually keep them out of the next big TakeOver event.

“Adam Cole and those guys are all going to England so they may not be on the card because they’re all doing the UK thing.”

While the Undisputed Era could always film a backstage segment to be inserted into the card when it airs on television, they already have four matches booked on the show. So there might only be room for one more contest if they can figure it out. As hard as it might be to believe, let’s see what happens. But the NXT Tag Team Champions and North American Champion might not be wrestling in Chicago.

- We noted that Neville moved back to the UK and is no longer living in the United States. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirmed report on Neville’s current residential status. Meltzer noted that he didn’t know if Neville was being paid or not but he presumes this isn’t the case.

At this point, there is really no update in the Neville situation as his contract is frozen which is a worldwide deal meaning he can’t even work for indie promotions even on a different continent.

Much like how Daniel Bryan’s contract was frozen until he returned to WWE television as SmackDwown GM, Neville’s contract isn’t changing. Although the one big difference could be that Byran was actually paid during his contract freeze.
