Big Cass Addresses WWE Return, Dirt Sheet Rumors, And Potential Dream Bouts Against Roman Reigns And Oba Femi

Following his explosive return to WWE programming, Big Cass addresses his WWE return and reflects on his ongoing singles run, responding directly to online speculation regarding his creative direction and backstage status.

Speaking on The Sal Licata Show, the WWE Superstar opened up about his physical transformation, addressing rumors about his future, the challenges of returning as a heel, and his desire to lock horns with top company stars.

Dirt Sheet Speculation And Backstage Attitude

Addressing online reports suggesting management lacks long-term creative plans for his current run, Cass revealed he recently discussed the matter directly with Chief Content Officer Triple H:

“It’s funny. I just talked to Hunter about all this the other day. Just what you’re talking about, the dirt sheets and everything. I’m coming back with the attitude of I’m here to do business. I fell short of my own expectations as a professional the first time. I’m coming back to do business. I’m coming back to do things right. Whatever the company needs is what they’re going to get out of me.”

“So whatever the dirt sheets want to say and important dirt sheet writers or that don’t work in the company have to say, their opinions their opinion. Everyone’s always looking for a story and negative sells, positive never sells… I’m here to take this ride, do things right this time, put my head down, work hard, and do the best that I can with what I’m given and what’s expected of me.”

Re-Establishing Himself As A Heel Outside Enzo Amore’s Shadow

Cass acknowledged that transitioning back to WWE as a solo villain has proven challenging due to the lingering nostalgia of his past tag team success alongside Enzo Amore:

“I’m pretty sure I’m coming back as a heel, and the last time anybody that in that viewing audience saw me, that they recognize me from, I was in one of the hottest baby face acts in the company… and now coming back as by myself as a heel, it makes things a lot harder.”

“When news came out of me signing with WWE, it immediately got linked to him. ‘They’re coming back together. They’re going to be running it back together.’ A lot of like a lot of podcasts ran with that story and people believed it. So then I come back on my own and some people like, wait, what? So it kind of, you know, it made it a little difficult, but I think so far I’ve done a pretty damn good job with, with the, in the situation I’m in getting booted out of buildings, which is really the goal.”

Physical Health And Potential Dream Opponents

Emphasizing that he is currently in the best condition of his career both mentally and physically, Cass pointed to Roman Reigns and Oba Femi as his primary targets for potential singles matchups down the line:

“Mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, where the best I’ve ever been. In the best shape of my life, the healthiest I’ve ever been, you know physically diet wise just doing everything right and treating my body like a temple, treating my body how it needs to be treated, treating my brain how it needs to be treated…”

“For what could possibly happen, obviously you want to, you want to wrestle Roman top dog. He’s top of the food chain. You want to wrestle him one-on-one. I’ve wrestled him in other kinds of matches, but one-on-one would love to wrestle Roman and Ob. Me and Oba. I would really, really love to work that, to wrestle Oba. I think that would be very good.”
