Big Cass Returns to WWE on RAW, Brutally Attacks Je’Von Evans

Big Cass made his official return to WWE on the August 3 episode of RAW, ending weeks of speculation with a violent statement. The comeback happened moments after Je’Von Evans scored a win over Ethan Page, only for Cass to appear and immediately target the rising star.

Cass wasted no time making an impact. He blindsided Evans and finished the assault with the East River Crossing, leaving Evans laid out in the ring and signaling that Cass is not returning quietly.

Cass Makes His First WWE Appearance Since 2018

Cass’ return marks his first WWE appearance since June 19, 2018, when he was released following a series of backstage issues. Reports at the time pointed to attitude problems during a European tour and ignoring creative direction during a televised segment. Those incidents, combined with concerns about his behavior behind the scenes, led to his exit. Cass has since spoken openly about the period and the personal struggles that came with it.

After leaving WWE, Cass took time away from the ring before resurfacing in both TNA and AEW, where he worked under the name Big Bill. His run in AEW helped rebuild his profile, and WWE began teasing his return in recent weeks through video packages.

Tonight’s RAW confirmed that Cass is officially back—and his first act was to send a message through Je’Von Evans. The attack sets the tone for how WWE intends to reintroduce him, positioning Cass as a dangerous presence from the moment he stepped through the curtain.
