Ethan Page Defeats Chad Gable To Capture Intercontinental Championship On WWE RAW

Ethan Page pulled off a major shocker on the November 2 episode of WWE RAW, dethroning Chad Gable to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a grueling contest.

The title victory marks Page’s first official championship gold on the WWE main roster, capping off a physical back-and-forth battle that saw both competitors push each other to the absolute limit.

Relentless Action Leads To Exposed Turnbuckle Finish

Chad Gable set an aggressive tone early, taking Page down with crossfaces before Page turned the tide by targeting Gable’s neck and back with heavy elbows and a hard Irish whip into the turnbuckles. Page maintained control with a snake eyes and a DDT, but Gable consistently found ways to counter, scoring multiple near falls via a sunset flip, inside cradle, and crucifix sequence.

As the match intensified, Gable targeted Page’s leg, snapping it against the steel ring post and delivering a dragon screw through the ropes. After executing an Olympic Slam onto the announce table and landing a top-rope moonsault inside the ring, Gable appeared poised to retain. Page fought back, driving Gable into the timekeeper’s area before removing a turnbuckle pad to create an opening.

Gable continued his onslaught with an overhead belly-to-belly superplex off the top rope and a Chaos Theory suplex, but Page repeatedly kicked out. In the closing moments, Gable locked in the ankle lock once again, but Page managed to shove the champion face-first into the exposed steel turnbuckle. Capitalizing instantly, Page executed the Egoplex to secure the pinfall victory and claim the Intercontinental Title.
