TNA Hall of Famer Mickie James has had her official capacity revealed for TNA’s upcoming flagship pay-per-view, Bound For Glory.
TNA President Carlos Silva confirmed that the former five-time Knockouts World Champion will serve as the special guest referee for the high-stakes TNA Knockouts World Championship match between reigning champion Xia Brookside and challenger Indi Hartwell.
TNA initially teased James’ involvement during a broadcast vignette following TNA iMPACT!, confirming that “Hardcore Country” would be present at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, without clarifying her role on the card.
The appearance marks James’ latest high-profile involvement in TNA programming. Earlier in the year, she engaged in a heated storyline against Ash By Elegance and The Elegance Brand, culminating in a six-woman Hardcore Country match at TNA Rebellion where she teamed alongside ODB and Taryn Terrell to face Ash By Elegance, Heather By Elegance, and M By Elegance.
With James donning the zebra stripes to enforce law and order, the Knockouts World Championship bout gains a seasoned veteran presence to ensure a decisive winner between Brookside and Hartwell.
TNA Bound For Glory streams live on Sunday, October 11, starting at 4:30 p.m. ET on pay-per-view and TNA+.
