Dominik Mysterio sets his sights on multiple WWE titles following his AAA Mega Championship loss, naming Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, and tag gold.
Former AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio is evaluating his next moves in WWE after surrendering his title to El Grande Americano at TripleMania.
Now without singles gold, the Judgment Day member revealed during an interview with Bleacher Report that he has his sights set on several marquee targets across WWE’s roster—including both main roster world champions. Mysterio noted unaddressed issues with World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns as well as past history with Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn:
There’s a lot of things I’d like to get done. I got some beef with [world heavyweight champion] Roman [Reigns] kind of. He tried to throw me out of the ring and end my career one time. Sami Zayn, on the other hand, we’ve got a lot of history with Sami and Kevin [Owens] in The Judgment Day, so maybe there’s something over there with the WWE title on the line.
In addition to World Championship aspirations, Mysterio pointed toward a potential run at reclaiming the Intercontinental Championship or entering the tag team division alongside fellow Judgment Day stablemate JD McDonagh:
Maybe I want my IC title back. Maybe I wanna go for the tag titles with JD, get him some gold too. Who knows? There’s a lot of things I’d like to get done, but we’re taking it one day at a time.
While Mysterio has not officially locked in his next target, the former North American and Intercontinental Champion made it clear that he plans to remain in contention across multiple divisions.
