9/3 TNA iMPACT Results: Hardy Confronts The Nemeths, International Title Contender Match Interrupted

TNA Wrestling presented the September 3, 2026 edition of TNA iMPACT! on AMC, taped live from the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

The fallout from Lockdown 2026 continued as Matt Hardy searched for answers following a backstage assault on his brother, tag team champions retained their titles in an open challenge, and chaos disrupted the main event contender’s match.

Matt Hardy Brawls With The Nemeths Over Mystery Attack

Matt Hardy opened the broadcast demanding accountability after his brother Jeff Hardy was brutally ambushed backstage following Lockdown. Believing the TNA World Tag Team Champions were behind the assault, Hardy directly accused Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth.

The Nemeths made their way to the ring to deny the allegations, claiming they would not take out Jeff for free. A heated exchange quickly turned physical when Matt launched a solo attack on both men. Security was forced to swarm the ring to break up the wild brawl. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella later booked a No Disqualification match between Matt Hardy and Nic Nemeth for next week’s broadcast.

Tag Team Action & Backstage Escalations

The Knockouts division saw Harley Hudson and Indi Hartwell score a tag victory over TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside and the debuting Zoey Serrano. Following the match, Hartwell approached Director of Operations Daria Rae to demand the next Knockouts World Championship opportunity, but Rae revealed the title shot would instead go to Gabby Forza.

In the X-Division ranks, KC Navarro picked up a crucial victory over Joe Alonzo in a qualifying match to earn his spot in the upcoming six-way X-Division Championship match at Bound for Glory 2026. Elsewhere on the card, AJ Francis defeated Brent Oakley before attempting to challenge newcomer Avery Styles. While Styles was willing to accept, Frankie Kazarian stepped in to interject and shut the match down on Styles’ behalf.
