NXT Results – August 4, 2026 – Welcome to Wrestling Attitude’s live coverage of NXT for August 4, 2026, coming to you from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida!

– A graphic appears on the screen honoring Dory Funk Jr. in memoriam.

– We move into a recap package highlighting Grayson Waller’s comments from last week.

– The video then shifts to Cruz Montana’s confrontation with Tony D’Angelo.

Jaida Parker & Thea Hail vs. Karmen Petrovic & Nikkita Lyons

Nikkita Lyons mocks Jaida Parker before the bell, and Jaida starts the match with Karmen Petrovic. Karmen takes Jaida down with a side headlock. Jaida counters into an armbar, and Karmen reverses back into the headlock.

Jaida hits a shoulder tackle and Thea Hail tags in. Thea slams Karmen, and Jaida wheelbarrows Thea into a slam on Karmen. Thea whips Karmen into the corner, but Karmen springs out with a jumping side kick.

Lyons tags in. Karmen kicks Thea, and Lyons follows with a back heel kick for a close count. Lyons clamps on a top wristlock. Jaida distracts the referee, allowing Karmen to interfere.

Thea flips Karmen with a Japanese arm drag. Jaida and Thea knock both opponents to the floor. They dive out after them. Jaida crashes into the ring steps, and Nattie blindsides Thea from behind.

Lyons hits a sit‑out powerbomb for a near fall. She throws Thea into the turnbuckles and chokes her on the ropes. Lyons covers again but only gets two. She slams Thea down and tags Karmen.

Karmen kicks Thea and slides into a corner dropkick, then poses over her. She taunts Jaida and elbows Thea. Thea fires back with a forearm and an uppercut. Karmen drives Thea into the corner and tags Lyons.

Lyons sends Thea into a kick from Karmen. Karmen hooks a headscissors in the ropes while Lyons punches away. Lyons gets another near fall and then locks in a cobra clutch.

Thea fights her way out of the hold. Lyons sends her toward the corner, but Thea catches her with an elbow and drops Karmen’s arm across the top rope. Thea rolls Lyons into a crucifix for a close count, then follows with an inside cradle for another.

Lyons grabs Thea’s leg, but Thea punches free and kicks her. Lyons answers with a short‑arm clothesline. Karmen tags back in.

Lyons charges and runs into a boot. Thea floats over Karmen and reaches her corner, bringing in Jaida. Jaida hits a double shoulder tackle, then nails Karmen with a hip attack. She sends Lyons to the floor with a headscissors.

Jaida follows with an elbow clothesline and a slam. She hits a gourdbuster and charges into the corner, hanging Karmen in the ropes. Lyons distracts the referee, giving Nattie an opening to save Karmen.

Karmen kicks Jaida and hits a Hart Attack for a near fall. Karmen and Thea trade punches until both drop after a headbutt. Jaida knocks Nattie off the apron. Lyons rolls Jaida up for a near fall.

Lyons swings, but Jaida whips her into the ropes and sets up the springboard seated splash. Thea tags in. Jaida blasts Karmen with a forearm. Thea leaps off the turnbuckles with a Trust Fall and gets the three.

Winners: Thea Hail & Jaida Parker

Nattie joins Karmen and Lyons for a three‑on‑two attack. Thea cracks Nattie with a headbutt. Thea and Jaida unload punches on Karmen, then turn their attention to Lyons and clear her out as well.

Tavion Heights & Myles Borne Backstage

Tavion tells Myles he needs to be fully locked in for tonight’s match. Myles says he’s already locked in, and this is their chance — he can become a double champion, and they can help each other walk out with gold.

Tavion admits he doesn’t know how he’ll handle it if they lose.

Myles tells him not to think that way. He says they’re leaving tonight as the new tag team champions.

Tony D’Angelo, Grayson Waller & Cruz Montana In‑Ring Segment

NXT Men’s Champion Tony D’Angelo heads to the ring.

Tony says Grayson Waller disrespected him last week — disrespected the locker room, disrespected the brand. Tony says Waller thinks the NXT Title is just a boomerang to fling himself back to the main roster. Tony says he won’t let Waller run his mouth without consequences. He also has new business with Cruz Montana. Mistake or not, Cruz laid him out, and Tony wants him to come out and explain himself.

Grayson Waller interrupts from the balcony.

Waller says everyone was talking about him all weekend, so he’s the money fight. Tony fires back and says Waller is talking trash from a safe distance, like always. He says Waller won’t come to the ring because he’s a coward. Tony says Waller shouldn’t get upset about his career falling apart. They were teammates back in the 2.0 days — Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams — all champions. Waller hasn’t won anything. He came back to try to be relevant.

Waller says Tony made some good points. If Tony wants to talk about relevancy, more people are talking about the men’s division because of him. Waller says he knows Tony lost his family, but he didn’t know Tony lost his courage. At least Tony didn’t run to his phone like everyone else.

Cruz Montana enters through the crowd.

Cruz says Tony didn’t call him out, but he wants to speak. He says Waller rattled some cages last week, and Cruz gives him credit — Cruz was once in Waller’s shoes. But Cruz didn’t do it to clown people or complain. He put in the work to become the man he claimed to be. Waller has a chip on his shoulder because his life isn’t what he wants. Cruz says he has a chip because he had no other options. It was wrestling or becoming another statistic. Cruz says he hopes Waller never has to meet the man Cruz used to see in the mirror. Cruz says he’s proved he belongs here, while Waller has spent years begging people to notice him.

Waller asks why Cruz cares about the people. How many times is he going to tell the same story? Waller says he’s embraced his demons.

Cruz tells Waller he only fights for himself, and that won’t get him anywhere. When people depend on you — when you have mouths to feed and people who hold you accountable — that’s what drives you.

Tony cuts them off. He says he doesn’t care about their motivations. He tells both of them to talk to Mr. Stone and set up a Number One Contender’s Match for Heatwave.

– We then get a video package looking back at the history between Lola Vice and Kendal Grey.

Zaria vs. Wren Sinclair — Women’s Speed Championship

Wren shoots in immediately and rolls Zaria into a sunset flip for an early count. She hangs on with a side headlock. Zaria forces her into the corner and boots her, but the elbow drop misses. Zaria throws Wren into the buckles and unloads punches.

Wren rebounds off the ropes with a clothesline and follows with a flying face‑plant for a close count. She sends Zaria into the ropes again, then hits an arm drag and a headscissors takedown. Wren misses the corner splash, but she stuns Zaria with a back elbow.

Zaria yanks Wren off the turnbuckles and drives her shoulder‑first into the post. She targets the clavicle with repeated elbows and drops another elbow. Zaria hits an elbow in the corner, then a punch, then a bicycle kick for two.

Wren fires a thrust kick. She ducks a clothesline, but Zaria rebounds off the ropes and nails her with an elbow to the head. They trade punches until Wren rolls her up for a close count. Wren chops her, lands a punch, and hits an X‑Factor for another two. She stacks Zaria again for another count.

Wren hits a dropkick and follows with a butterfly superplex, but Zaria kicks out. Wren climbs and hits a crossbody, but Zaria rolls through and lifts her. Zaria blasts her with a spear through the ropes.

They return to the ring. Zaria hoists Wren up as the clock expires.

Time‑Limit Draw — Wren Sinclair retains the championship

Zaria drills Wren with a punch and plants her with an F5.

OTM & Birth Right — Locker Room Segment

Lucien Price and Bronco Nima sit together in the locker room. Nima tells Price he’s sorry for what happened last week — says the mistake cost them. Price doesn’t blame him. He says Nima did what he had to do, and Nima just wants to make sure they’re still good.

Birth Right walk in.

Lexis King reminds them he was right all along. He says OTM is falling apart.

Price steps forward and challenges King.

Uriah Connors cuts him off and says Price doesn’t get King that easily — he’d have to go through a tournament first.

Price doesn’t care. He says he wants a singles match.

Kelani, Grayson Waller & Mason Rook — Backstage

Kelani stops Waller and tells him she heard everything he said. She says when she gets a title shot, she’ll do what Waller couldn’t — she’ll win it on her first attempt.

Mason Rook steps in and says he isn’t soft. He’s traveled the world, fought everywhere, and he wants Waller to prove himself instead of running his mouth.

Kam Hendrix blindsides Rook, and more people rush in as the situation breaks down.

Ricky Smokes & Brad Baylor vs. Tavion Heights & Myles Borne — NXT Tag Team Championships

Ricky Smokes opens against Tavion Heights. Tavion clamps on a side headlock and knocks Ricky down with a shoulder tackle. Ricky tries a kick, but Tavion blocks it and launches him with a T‑bone suplex, then follows with a slam. Ricky leaps, but Tavion catches him mid‑air and plants him with a powerslam for a count of two.

Myles Borne tags in and hits an Olympic Slam. Ricky fires back with shoulders and an elbow. Brad Baylor tags in, but Myles clotheslines Ricky on his way out and dropkicks Brad for a close count. Brad lands a punch, but Myles answers with another clothesline and a hard Irish whip.

Tavion tags in. He sends Myles into Brad for a clothesline. Brad slips away and Ricky tags in, dropping Tavion across the top rope and rolling him up for two.

Brad elbows Tavion in the corner. Ricky tags back in, but Tavion blocks the belly‑to‑back suplex and hip‑tosses him. Brad tags in again, and Tavion hits a slingshot slam. Myles enters and nails an X‑Plex for a near fall.

Brad sends Myles throat‑first into the ropes. Myles recovers long enough to spinebuster Ricky. Brad climbs, but Myles yanks him down. Drake grabs Ricky to block the Borne Again, and Ricky kicks free. Brad tags in, kicks Myles, and hits a shoulder. Ricky kicks Myles, and Brad covers for two.

Brad chops him. Ricky tags in. They hit a double belly‑to‑back suplex, but Myles still kicks out. Ricky hooks a reverse chinlock. Myles elbows out, but Ricky jabs him in the throat. Ricky splashes him in the corner. Brad tags in and punches him twice. Myles nearly steals it with a rollup, then an inside cradle, but Brad shuts him down with another punch.

Ricky tags in and kicks Myles in the corner. Ricky chokes him. Brad tags and kicks him. Ricky tags again and kicks him. Brad tags again — Ricky snap‑mares Myles, Brad hits the leapfrog neck‑snap, and Ricky drops a knee for another near fall.

Brad and Myles trade punches and forearms. They try another double belly‑to‑back suplex, but Myles slips out and Tavion tags in. Tavion wipes out Brad, then hits an overhead belly‑to‑belly suplex and a punch. Tavion follows with a clothesline for a near fall.

Myles tags back in and gets another close count after a powerslam.

Myles cracks Brad with a punch and knocks him to the floor. Ricky jumps in with a double‑knee takedown, and Brad tags back. They hit their dropkick–spinebuster combo, but Tavion dives in to break the cover.

Tavion tags in as Ricky re‑enters. Tavion blasts Ricky with a forearm while Myles powerslams Brad. Ricky and Brad fire back with jumping knees, but Tavion and Myles answer with stereo powerslams.

Drake tries to interfere, but the referee catches him and ejects the whole crew.

Ricky slaps Tavion. Myles grabs Ricky and sends him crashing into Brad. Myles hits Borne Again on Ricky, then clotheslines Brad over the top rope.

Tavion scoops Ricky and launches him with an overhead belly‑to‑belly suplex. He holds for the three.

Winners: Tavion Heights & Myles Borne — New NXT Tag Team Champions

Drake is pissed and Myka and Keanu pause to stare at each other.

Lizzy Rain, Niko Vance & Izzi Dame — Backstage

Lizzy Rain is stopped by Niko Vance and Izzi Dame. Izzi tells Lizzy she only won because Shawn Spears got involved. Niko says he’ll handle Spears himself.

Spears walks up and says they don’t have to wait — they’ll all meet in a tag match next week.

Lizzy says she doesn’t trust Spears, and if anything goes sideways, she knows it’ll turn into three‑on‑one.

Spears smirks and calls her a smart girl.

EK Prosper vs. Keanu Carver

They lock up. Keanu gives a clean break and pats EK on the shoulder. EK goes to a waistlock, but Keanu switches behind and takes him down. Keanu moves into a front facelock, EK counters with a hammerlock, and Keanu pops him over with a backdrop. Keanu follows with a biel toss, but EK lands on his feet.

Keanu sends EK to the apron. EK kicks him, then hits a back‑heel kick. EK follows with a jumping moonsault. He clamps on a side headlock, but Keanu snap‑mares him out. EK hits a dropkick. Keanu answers with a dropkick of his own.

Keanu charges and ends up on the apron. EK dropkicks him to the floor. Keanu catches EK off the apron, but EK slips free. Keanu nearly collides with Booker T at the desk and apologizes. EK fires another dropkick and then stomps Keanu with a double‑stomp off the ringside barrier.

EK flies in with a crossbody and nearly steals it. He peppers Keanu with forearms and goes for a springboard crossbody, but Keanu snatches him out of the air and plants him with an Oklahoma Stampede for a close count.

Keanu whips EK face‑first into the turnbuckles, sending him spilling to the floor. Keanu follows with kicks, then a suplex for another two. He drives EK into the corner with an Irish whip and hits a backbreaker, stretching EK across his knee.

Keanu levels him with a clothesline and clamps on a reverse chinlock. He hammers EK with a forearm to the back and a back elbow for another count. Keanu transitions into a Border City Stretch. EK punches his way free and kicks Keanu, but Keanu blocks the next kick and drills him with a short‑arm clothesline.

Keanu keeps the reverse chinlock locked in until EK breaks free with a jawbreaker. EK fires punches. Keanu answers with a forearm. EK snaps him with a Stundog Millionaire and follows with more punches. EK hits a thrust kick, then a roundhouse to the temple. He lands a quebrada and spins into a tornado DDT.

EK climbs and hits a blockbuster for a close count.

He goes up again. Keanu moves, but EK floats away and lands an enzuigiri. Keanu cracks him with a punch. EK fires a forearm. Keanu launches him with a pop‑up German suplex for two. Keanu follows with a powerbomb — another two.

EK rolls him up for a count of two. Keanu tries a belly‑to‑back suplex, but EK lands on his feet and hits a dropkick and a Shining Wizard. EK goes up for a moonsault, but Keanu gets the boots up. Keanu hooks an inside cradle and steals the three.

Winner: Keanu Carver

Cutler, Osiris & Dion — Backstage

Cutler and Osiris talk about Dion and getting another shot at Saquon.

Dion says getting put through a wall isn’t a win. He wants them untouchable. He says they’re celebrating beating a team thrown together a week ago while Saquon is still out there. Dion asks if they’re really okay being called soft and complacent — because if they are, then what’s the point of any of this.

Next week, he says they make sure Saquon doesn’t walk away.

– We look at a video from Shiloh Hill.  He mentions he fractured a bone in his skull.  He says he will be out of action for a while.  Hill talks about Kam Hendrix’ comments about is injury.  

– We have a video package for Dory Funk Junior, who passed away today.

Robert Stone, Cruz Montana & Tristan Angels — Backstage

Robert Stone is on the phone, telling someone he wants to discuss the situation further. Cruz Montana walks up, and Stone informs him that his match with Grayson Waller is officially set for next week.

Tristan Angels steps in and complains to Cruz. He says Cruz is being handed opportunities while he’s out here trying to earn his way into title contention. Tristan says Cruz shouldn’t be getting a contender’s match before him.

Cruz fires back. He reminds Tristan he was here last year — grinding, fighting, proving himself. He asks Tristan how long he’s even been in NXT. Tristan says three months. Cruz tells him that’s exactly the point.

Stone then runs down next week’s lineup:

Lola Vice vs. Kendal Grey — NXT Women’s World Championship (NXT Underground)

The Underground pit is set, trainees forming the circle around the mat.

Grey and Lola trade blocked kicks. Grey shoots for a takedown, Lola stuffs it. Grey reaches for the arm, Lola slips out. Lola kicks at the leg, but Grey drops her with a double‑leg and works the limb as they slide toward the edge of the platform.

Lola hits a takedown but swings and misses with her punches. Grey sends Lola to the floor, then snaps her into a headscissors that launches Lola into the ringside barrier. Lola clamps on a guillotine, but Grey drives her backward into the ring steps to break it.

Grey tries a kick, Lola blocks it, and Lola drops Grey face‑first on the steps. Grey starts bleeding from the ear, and the referee immediately checks on her. Grey gets upright, but she can’t stand on her own.

The referee calls for medical staff.

Grey insists she’s fine. Trainers wrap a bandage around her head, and she steps back into the pit.

Grey hits a hip toss and unloads punches. Lola fires a back‑heel kick. She cracks Grey with a forearm to the back of the head, then drives a knee into the midsection. Lola follows with repeated chest kicks. Grey answers with punches.

Lola snaps an axe kick, then a Saito suplex. She hits a second Saito, but Grey lands on her feet on the next attempt. Grey kicks Lola and throws her with a German suplex. Grey follows with a Saito suplex and a T‑bone suplex. Another German suplex lands. The straps come down — and so does Grey, dropping to a knee.

Lola knocks Grey off the platform. Lola kicks her on the floor.

Grey blocks a roundhouse and grabs an ankle lock. Lola rolls through into an ankle lock of her own. Grey kicks free. Lola kicks at her. Grey punches back. Lola switches to punches. Grey fires another kick. Lola answers with round kicks. Lola hits a back‑heel kick and a back‑fist that knocks Grey off the edge — but Hank and Tank shove Grey forward, causing her and Lola to collide head‑to‑head and fall.

Lola immediately clamps on a rear‑naked choke.

Grey fights for a cross‑arm breaker, but Lola blocks it. Lola’s kick gets caught, so she fires an elbow and then spins with a back‑fist that accidentally nails the referee. Lola immediately jumps back on Grey with a rear‑naked choke and body scissors. Grey starts fading, and Lola turns to check on the downed official.

Wren Sinclair rushes in and slaps Grey across the face, trying to wake her and fire her up.

Grey explodes with a superkick. Lola answers with a round kick. Grey grabs the arm again and locks in a full cross‑arm breaker. Lola taps out.

Winner: Kendal Grey

After the match, Lola and Grey embrace. Lola raises Kendal’s hand.

NXT Preview – August 4, 2026

Kendal Grey defends the NXT Women’s Championship tonight in an NXT Underground Match against Lola Vice. Grey dethroned Vice at The Great American Bash on June 28, and Vice fought her way back into contention by beating Kelani Jordan and Kali Armstrong in a Triple Threat on July 14. The Underground stipulation was added after a heated confrontation between the two on July 21, giving Vice a chance to reclaim the title in a setting built for her style.

Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes of Vanity Project put the NXT Tag Team Championship on the line for the first time since their July 14 win over Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux. They defend against North American Champion Myles Borne and Tavion Heights. Borne secured this opportunity by agreeing to defend his own title against Kam Hendrix on July 21. He retained last Tuesday, earning the tag shot for himself and Heights.

Wren Sinclair defends the Women’s Speed Championship against Women’s North American Champion Zaria. Both visited General Manager Robert Stone’s office last Tuesday to discuss future challengers, which quickly turned into an argument. Stone ruled that if Sinclair retains tonight, she will earn a shot at Zaria’s title. The stakes rise for both champions as their paths collide.

Jaida Parker teams with Thea Hail to face EVOLVE Women’s Champion Nikkita Lyons and Karmen Petrovic. Parker and Hail were shown bonding last Tuesday, with Hail pleasantly surprised by Parker’s enthusiasm about teaming together. Lyons and Petrovic enter with championship presence on their side, making tonight’s match a key test for the new pairing.
