After the match, Lesnar told the crowd that Femi represents the future while he belongs to the past, reinforcing the idea that his in‑ring career may be winding down.
WWE Signals Retirement Again on RAW
During the August 3 episode of WWE RAW, the company aired the same career retrospective video that played after WrestleMania 42. The decision to re‑use the package, combined with Lesnar’s website status changing back to alumni, strongly suggests WWE is once again treating him as retired.
Even during his brief return for the matches with Femi, Lesnar continued referring to himself as retired, leaving the door open for occasional appearances without presenting him as a full‑time performer. WWE’s latest move fits that pattern, positioning Lesnar as a legacy figure rather than an active competitor.
