AEW added two major championship matches to the All In card on 8/12 Dynamite, including a newly announced triple threat for the International Championship and a Falls Count Anywhere showdown for the TNT Title.
The biggest reveal came from Don Callis, who announced that Kyle Fletcher will defend the AEW International Championship against Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada on August 30 at Wembley Stadium. The match marks the first time Takeshita has challenged for the title since losing it to Fletcher in July. For Okada, it’s his first shot at the belt since dropping it to Takeshita back in May.
The announcement continues the ongoing story within the Callis Family, with Fletcher now forced to defend against two former champions who both have history with the title — and with each other. The dynamic adds another layer to a division that has quietly become one of AEW’s most competitive.
Dynamite also confirmed Darby Allin will challenge Kevin Knight for the TNT Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere match. The stipulation fits Allin’s chaotic style and comes after months of tension between the two. Knight attacked Allin following his AEW World Title loss to MJF at Double or Nothing, and despite defeating Allin ahead of AEW Redemption, Knight has remained locked in on proving he’s above the former champion.
