AEW All Out 2026 Date Set for September 26 in Chicago, Tony Khan Explains Schedule Change

AEW has officially confirmed that All Out 2026 will take place on Saturday, September 26, at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The announcement was made by AEW President Tony Khan during an interview with Q101, where he also outlined the reasoning behind moving the event away from its traditional Labor Day weekend slot.

Khan expressed enthusiasm about returning to the Chicago area and confirmed that tickets would be available soon.

“Yes, I do, Case. I’m really excited to be here with you. I can’t wait to see you in person. And the excitement involves AEW coming back to Chicago. It’s going to be an incredible event. Ladies and gentlemen, AEW All Out 2026 is coming back to Chicago and the on-sale starts one week from today.”

The ticket rollout schedule was also detailed during the interview. VIP and premium VIP pre-sale begins July 7 at 10 a.m., followed by the general pre-sale running from July 9 through July 12. Tickets will then be released to the public on July 13. Khan reiterated the timeline while promoting the event.

“That’s right. Tickets for AEW All Out go on sale in one week. Next Monday, the event is going to be on Saturday, September 26th. It’ll be AEW All Out coming back to Chicago. And I can’t wait for this, Case. Tickets go on sale on Monday and the pre-sale starts less than 24 hours from now.”

AEW expects strong interest in the event, with Khan emphasizing its history in the Chicago market.

“You can get involved in the VIP pre-sale tomorrow. And there’s going to be a lot of demand when AEW All Out comes back to Chicago. That’s going to be a red hot ticket, my friend.”

Khan also addressed the decision to move All Out later in the month. He stressed that the goal is to ensure the show feels like a major pay-per-view and not one that is rushed too closely after another big event.

“Well, in this case, I want to make sure that AEW All Out, for the fans in Chicago and all the pay-per-view buyers all over the world, feels like a top premium pay-per-view event, one of the biggest events of the year, and we’ll be coming off AEW All In.”

He pointed to AEW’s continued success in England as a key factor in the scheduling shift. The weekend before Labor Day coincides with a bank holiday in England, where AEW has delivered some of its largest gates.

“Now, the weekend before Labor Day is actually a bank holiday in England, and we’ve had a lot of success running shows there. So much success, in fact, that four out of the top five gates in AEW history all fall on that same weekend, which happens to be the weekend before Labor Day, the bank holiday in England, where we’ll have AEW All In this year.”

With that success in mind, AEW opted to create more space between its major events.

“And given that huge success and how well that’s gone for us, I want to make sure that the fans get the best possible experience at All Out. So that means giving four weeks between these pay-per-views to fully build up and have about a month between AEW All In and AEW All Out.”

Khan made it clear that the date change does not reduce the importance of the show.

“So we’re going to have a huge All Out. It’s one of our biggest events of the year. And the fans who’ve been to the All Out shows around Chicago know this pay-per-view has an incredible track record of delivering great results.”

AEW is set to hold All In at Wembley Stadium in London before shifting its focus back to Chicago. Khan said the company plans to deliver a strong follow-up event.

“And I think we’ll be coming off of an incredible AEW All In at Wembley Stadium in London. And then we’re going to bring the very best of AEW back to Chicagoland. And I can’t wait to see all the fans, see my family, and see you, Case, coming up on September 26th.”
