WWE is preparing a stacked lineup for WWE SummerSlam 2026, with new details pointing to one of the most loaded cards in the event’s history.

Following the June 29 episode of WWE RAW, several high-profile matches have already been confirmed for the two-night event, scheduled for August 1 and 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the current plan calls for approximately 13 to 14 matches across both nights. That projection signals WWE’s intent to deliver a full-scale weekend event, similar in scope to WrestleMania, rather than a shorter card built around only a handful of featured bouts.
Among the matches already announced, Roman Reigns is set to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins. The match revisits their long-running rivalry dating back to their time in The Shield.
Another major bout will see Brock Lesnar face Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell, with Paul Heyman aligned with Lesnar. The match adds a high-stakes stipulation to a feud that is currently tied at one win apiece.
In the women’s division, Iyo Sky is scheduled to challenge Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship, adding another title match to the growing lineup.
With multiple championship bouts and major rivalries already confirmed, the expected match count suggests that WWE is aiming to fill both nights with meaningful content. SummerSlam, which has been a cornerstone event since 1988, continues to expand in scale, and the 2026 edition appears set to follow that trend with a deep and varied card.
